I am shocked how few people I know have heard of The Midnight. Everytime I play a song by The Midnight for someone they always love it and start listening to the music.
I know and understand perfectly what this guy is feeling when listening to this song, because that's how I felt the first time I heard it !!! It's just fantastic, beautiful and gives me a feeling of nostalgia and longing for the 80's !!
The Midnight opened me up to the Synthwave genre and I haven’t left it since. Give FM-84 a listen, maybe Running I the Night, Wild Ones, or their new track Bend and Break. The singer’s vocals are amazing. Best to you, I really enjoyed the video.

I honestly don't think you'll find a fanbase rooting for an artist so hard--quite like those who have found the midnight. We have so much love for this band and we are literally all out here trying to share. This was off of what is considered to be one of their 'weaker' (and god i hate to even say that) albums as well--you have an emotional ride ahead of you friend....
I always go back and forth between Lost Boy and Sunset for The Midnight, though they have so man great songs, especially when they hit you with that sax in some of their better known songs.

If you like their stuff you should check ouy Timecop1983 as well! A good bit of their stuff is instrumental but some of my favorite tracks that feature vocalists are Lovers, Girl, and Faded Memory (I think this is technically on an album of the vocalist, Jessie Frye)
