Man those pink and orange pesto sauces are fantastic. They are sold in Tesco supermarkets in the UK and I had no idea you guys could get them. HIGHLY recommend especially the pink one. You just put them with pasta tbh and I guess some kind of plant based protein if you want but we just have them on plain pasta

I got so curious about that Sam's choice chocolate I checked them out and the chocolate id only 56% fair trade ingredients + the carbon neutrality sign actually is not accredited by anyone (just a marketing thing I guess, which is not fun) But at least it's tasty!

Clo Clo was a brand created because a little kid named chloe had a hard time having fun frozen/boxed foods (pizza, pasta, etc) because of her long list of allergies so her parents made their own brand and named it after her! (Reading this back it is all in past tense and that sounds like chloe is not alive but she is lol)
Same with a brand in the southwest called Siete. I love their salsas
Sometimes I do like 1/3rd oats (uncooked), 1/3rd frozen blueberries, and 1/3rd granola in a bowl, sometimes a banana on top or seeds mix. dont let the blueberries melt at all and pour milk over. it gets all slushy in the best way! especially if you use the tiny wild blueberries. sounds weird but it's actually really good lol

SALAD OH MY GO:
HELLA spinach
strawberries
roasted pecans
raspberry vinaigrette
feta crumbles optional
i ate this like 4 out of 7 days last week

Hey!! Do you ever go to Golden Bowl? It's an Asian grocery store in fresno and they have a ton of vegan meats. I haven't been there in years but they had vegan shrimp and just a ton of stuff that you would never see in a regular supermarket

The brand is actually sort of born in the Netherlands
The name is the dutch word for small cats /Kitties
The brand started in the Netherlands under the name Katja around 1910
In 1950 the company was divided between two brothers
And one moved his side of the production etc to Germany and named it after one of the black licorice products with the shape of little cats
We would pronounce it as
Cat with the A a little like in the word “what” and the jes like erm well… i have to think about that part.

Oooh I used the pink "pesto" as pizza sauce and it was delicious. They also have an amazing olive pesto which was maybe the best pizza "sauce" I've ever had

Katjes is a actually a german brand I think and this is the first time I see sb outside of europe talking about them. You would pronounce it kinda like cat-yes. That comes closest. I would recommend their stuff. All of it is really good and they have been around forever, so kinda a pioneer in veggie gummies

I didn’t know you could get Wicked Kitchen abroad (it’s a Tesco (UK) vegan brand) all Wicked Kitchen stuff is the best so I highly recommend picking up anything you see. I use both those pestos with crackers & pasta and they’re sooo good
‘Kat’ means cat in Dutch and we put ‘je’ at the end of a word to make it a cuter(?) version 😅 so your sweets are basically called kittens 🐱 😂 Not sure if it’s so common in the English language but I looked up the translation and it’s a ‘diminutive’ eg: pig vs piglet (ie. smaller)

Yo! Unisoy is pretty good but I’m not surprised you were disappointed, that flavor is probably the worst one. I def suggest trying the black pepper, teriyaki or hot and spicy. Hot and spicy is the best one for sure

Love grocery outlet! Hate that things that become staples end up being there for just a short amount of time.
But! Also was able to try those mixed berry gummy bears and the 'tropical': lemon, pineapple, and mango.
I'm very big on vegan gummies so I have to try them all at least once, and sadly I won't be buying these again. They were very hard on my teeth and not chewy without being extremely sticky.

Not sure if thats how you would pronounce it but here in Germany we call Katjes "Katyes" so jes is pronounced the same as yes. Also this German salad lol never seen something like that here.

The ingredients in packages are not always listed in order from most to least. Probably the case with the gochujang chicken. Sometimes manufacturers make mistakes, sometimes it's done intentionally, often manufacturers completely intentionally lye about the nutrition information (yes this has actually been proven many times sometimes even pure cooking oil is listed as 0 calories when its actually about 120 per tbsp)
Woohoo I’d make pasta with the pink sauce and add beets and pine nuts. (PINE NUTS are not expensive in bulk cuz you don’t need a lot of pine nuts on top. Very nutritious...who knew?!!)

there is a soon kimchi ramen n its vegan!! ive loved them for the past 3 years! they used to be bigger packs on walmarts website n they were cheap pre pandemic like CHEAP. now those same packs are like 20-30$ but its one of the best v ramens imo B)
