Don`t forget the fact that Rhaenyra demanded that Aemond be torturer, the term “questioned sharply” is a euphemism for torturing in a Song of Ice and Fire. Just to point out for those saying Rhaenyra would never harm Alicent`s children

Rider doesn't chose the dragon, the dragon chooses the rider. Laena's children apparently think that dragons are meant to be their slaves or something. While I am a black supporter at heart, the Blacks online have shown ignorance so far and nothing else. They supposedly consider themselves progressives but ignore the plight of Alicent who is the real victim of patriarchy, being abused as a teenager and never allowed to explore her sexuality, being trapped with an old dying man who says to her face that he loves his dead wife still and was never a father to her children, and Rhaenyra in the meantime has nothing to say to her except that she would never be as pathetic as to pop out a lords kids to a teenage pregnant Alicent.
This is what Alicent meant when she said "where is duty? where is sacrifice?" and all these supposed "feminists" went: "what a crazy jealous b**** lmao". Disgusting misogynistic behavior imo. Aemond is the only one in his generation with actual achievements to his name other then just being a prince. Name me one impressive accomplishment by any of the other kids including Laena's. Jace is about 18 with tutors and his mother both at his side, and still hasn't learned Valyrian while Aemond as a preteen claimed the biggest dragon whereas they only "claimed" baby dragons that hatched and had no choice but to bond with their "owners" while Aemond claimed the conquerer Visenya's adult dragon. No to mention Jace and Luc being bullies.
It's no wonder that Blacks love Daemon-Rhaenyra, a relationship with creepy undertones of the grooming of a teenager.

      Um...Daenerys Stormborn isn't a bastard.
And yes, I fault Rhaenyra for continuing to sleep with Ser Harwin Strong. I understand that she had an open marriage with Laenor, and the fact that he's gay makes it obvious that they can't have sexual relations. But if she really loved Daemon as much as she thought she did, she wouldn't have slept with Ser Cole or Ser Harwin. Yes, her sons are bastards, but that isn't their fault and it wasn't their choice. The question of their legitimacy is valid, but the question of hers isn't. She had been given the title of heir. If the so called honor and duty that Alicent talked about was to be upheld, then in my opinion Daemon should be renamed heir, and then one of his daughters as the next heir. I am leaving Aemond out because I can clearly see the early warning signs of Mania. Now a bloodbath, in relation to Daemon at war and Rhaenyra entering the camp bloodied aren't signs of Mania. Their entrances and actions were testimonies to their rebellion against the status quo and the judgements of who people have made them out to be. In addition, Aemond shouldn't have claimed Laena's dragon at the funeral, his timing couldn't be any worse. It shows how insensitive he was to Daemon and his daughters. Him responding to her cries was an amazing thing and it shows how attuned to dragons he is, but that's just it. He could've comforted the dragon without claiming her. You cant tell me it wouldn't have worked. I do not believe that Rhaenyra and Laena's children ganging up on him was out of jealousy, maybe a bit, but I'm sure they saw his claiming the dragon as a slap to the face. It was disrespectful at the time he did it to the girls' mother and ss I stated earlier on, insensitive. Lycerion using a weapon was too far and he should have been punished. By whipping, caning, whatever means, but I do not agree with Alicent's demand for his eye in return. Her demand makes her as childish as Lycerion, and her taking the King's dagger to try to get it makes her petty. However, one should take into account how Aemond and Aemon, even Ser Cole have treated Rhaenyra's sons : one can only take so much verbal abuse.

The best thing I find about Aemond is that at a time where men demanded everything to be handed to them just because they are men, he did not. Instead he made himself the best in every field so that his capabilities could not be questioned. And I cannot possibly understand the people who say he should have gotten over losing his eye. IT WAS HIS EYE, HE WAS NOT GOING TO GROW ANOTHER IF HE LOST ONE. And no one even cared about it other than Alicent, not even his own father. A tumblr user explained how the injury would have affected him, and if the wound was deep enough to lose an eye, it would have caused him facial spasms and chronic pain once EVERY HOUR that would only increase with time. In every situation, he would be called a cripple and disregarded (starting from the age of 10!!). And putting a sapphire in doesn't change the fact that he still has only half sight. His entire body balance changed. But he still overcame this ton of physical and psychological trauma to become someone everyone feared, because it was the only way to earn respect

The mental gymnastics that people are doing to support The Blacks are insane. What people ignore is, Leana's daughter who doesn't have a dragon could have been rejected by Vhagar in the process to claim her which would have resulted in her death. Aemond did not steal Vhagar, she chose him as her rider. I'm neither greens nor blacks team. However, it's annoying to see that people are justifying everything that Rhaenyra does like she's a victim.
If Viserys wasn't a weak King, Rhaenyra wouldn't not continue to be his heir. That's why I am baffled when people mention that he would have taken punitive action against Alicent for that whole incident if he wasn't a soft King. While it was a bit dickish of Aemond to rub it in Rhaena’s face after she lost her mother, he did nothing wrong. He went to Vhagar and she chose him. He didn’t start the fight. It was four on one. His nephew was the one who brought the knife, which makes me think that he was planning to attack Aemond. After seeing the extent of Aemond’s injury, I have come to the conclusion that Alicent is a better woman than me. If that was me, I would have ripped everyone apart with my bare hands, especially Viserys’s useless ass. Rhaenyra’s “thank you, father” cemented me as part of team green. SPOILER WARNING for those who haven’t finished the season !
In my opinion I think both sides are in the wrong. When it comes to the blacks, Rheneara from the start didn’t want to be queen and since she was Viserys only heir he pushed it on her over and over until she just accepted it. I don’t know if it was out of spite that she ended up having bastard children but either way I can agree with Alicent that having 3 at that point was an insult. Now as far as the greens, Otto has been a sneaky bastard since day one and showed little to no hesitation to make Aegon the king when EVERYBODY knew that the kid wasn’t the right choice. And when it comes to the whole Aemond situation, he became blinded by revenge after losing his eye and after that stunt he pulled with Luke, all hell is about to break loose.

They are animals. They are beast, and they will react according to that yes the bond most of the time they listen, but not always she is a war dragon getting attacked by Lil Baby dragon he was ordering her to stop multiple times, but she was not listening Neither of their dragons were listening to their rider They were purely going on instinct.

But, because he still wanted payback for his eye he acted reckless. Aemond losing his eye and Viserys not doing anything about it, not even giving Luke a slap on the wrist or saying never do that again, and instead humiliating Alicent and Aemond and Aegon by yelling at them like they’re in the wrong for telling the truth… eliminated any doubts that Rhaenyra would no doubt be a threat to their lives if she became Queen if she was willing to torture her brother (she said sharply questioned and was dead serious about it) to find out who told him the truth of her eldest three boys. She didn’t give a damn her son mutilated another child she only cared to play cover up for her mistakes.
Yes maybe Luke should not have lost an eye in return but he should have been punished. They could have him banned from Kingslanding for life or for a long time, disinherited from Driftmark (not that he was entitled to Driftmark and the Lord of the Tides title in the first place), something to punish him!
Viserys didn’t give a damn about the fact his son was crippled to life which is a big deal in Medieval societies, and no doubt traumatized, and instead cared about people saying the truth about his grandsons. He didn’t offer any comfort to Aemond and yelled at the one person Alicent who sought justice for him. Rhaenyra or Viserys did even scold Luke for what he had done.
Yes Aemond could have been nicer, he said some mean things to Rhaena and Baela, but they all ganged up against him and went to strike him first. Jace pulled out the knife. Rhaena was not entitled to Vhagar in any way. We saw how Daemon favors Baela over Rhaena and how bullies Aemond is by his brother and nephews that Targaryens without dragons are overlooked and under appreciated. The fact that the bastard nephews had dragons and the love of Viserys and Aemond had neither was hurting him enough. He took a chance and risked his life to claim the largest and most powerful dragon in the realm. While Aemond was insensitive for claiming a dead lady’s dragon the night of her funeral while her daughters mourn her and Rhaena wants a piece of her mother, he did not steal dragon. A dragon can’t be stolen only claimed. Vhagar claimed Aemond as much as Aemond claimed Vhagar. She was not entitled to Vhagar by simply being Laena’s daughter. Besides if you look at her previous riders from Baelon to Visenya and Laena, she seems to have a type. The brash warrior hearted ones. Rhaena is too gentle and ladylike for Vhagar.
While wrong doings occurred on both ends for Aemond being insensitive to his cousins and them (Jace Luke Rhaena Baela) escalating the conflict physically as they started the fight physically, Aemond threatening Jace with a rock, ultimately the one most wronged is Aemond.
He was maimed traumatized and had to relearn everything (as losing an eye impacts your balance and sight) and the people who caused it and the person who took his eye were not punished instead he was yelled at like he was the problem.

Honestly, I firmly believe a lot of the blame comes from the fact that the Hightower Targs were raised by Alicent and Ser Criston, two characters who hated Rhaenyra because they were tied to duty when the Princess and heir could go off and, from their point of view, skirt all responsibility by having bastards with Ser (Lord?) Strong. [A lot of people seem to think Rhaenyra doing that was especially wrong and that she was cheating on Laenor despite the fact that she and Laenor set it up so that their marriage was an open relationship solely to align their houses closer, a lot like Daemon and Laena with respect to the fact that Daemon actually had kids with Laena. There are always going to be morons I guess.]
Were Aegon and Aemond not raised by these two, or perhaps is Viserys stepped in more often and been their father, they might not have been so indoctrinated into bastard hatred [which I thought was heightened by the Blackfyres but whatever] and thus the uncle/nephews wouldn’t nearly be so hostile to one another.
For the case of Luce and Jace attacking Aemond, Aemond was being kind of a prick about taming Vhaegar [who wouldn’t to be fair, he’s still a kid a pride comes in spares as a Targ] and verbally harassing the Velayron girls. Does that give them the right to attack him? No, not really, but he exacerbated it further by going along with his mother’s/Ser Criston’s indoctrination.
All in all, Viserys caused the war through negligence as his health failed over time, the Hightowers pressed the issue incredibly, and Aemond started the dance by killing Luce. All because communication was out the window after Rhaenyra snuck out with Daemon when she was a teenager.

I don't think Aemond was in any way wrong for the dragon. I think the fight was just kids being kids and it got out of hand and he paid the price. On the subject of Rhaeynera. She might not make a good queen but Aegon certainly won't make a good king. He's a selfish bully that can't keep it in his pants or put the wine glass down. He's part of the reason Aemond is so defensive and unable to show any empathy for anyone else. Aemond wouldn't be named king because that's not how succession works. Viserys could pass over Rhaenera for Aegon but it would take something major for him to pass over them both for Aemond. As long as Aegon and Otto are on team green I have to go with team black but both teams have some issues. Sidenote: I find it interesting how alike Aemond and Daemon are.

I havent read the books but i did read on the wiki a little on his rule after the dance that he was in constant terrible pain but did his best working with his council on his rule as he struggled with his injuries. RIP. He aint remembered as a good king though. Neither was rhaenerya.

I stopped liking Luke after at the last supper a pig is brought out on the table and Luke snickers at Aemond. If any of Rhaenyra’s children that I actually like is Jace, I enjoy the relationship he builds with Cregan Stark. Like Viserys said “the idea that we control the dragons is an illusion “ people seem to ignore that part so when Aryaxx starts the fight and Vhagar of course She’s going to be pissed. We can clearly see remorse in Aemons response by saying “no no no Vhagar no” showing the face of “what have I done? “ Expressions on the face is key when watching Game of Thrones or House of the Dragon or hell Dunk& egg. You have to look carefully, I will give you a prime example. Roose Bolton while looking at his face the first time I didn’t realize what was going on at the red wedding until Cat pulled back his sleeve and saw the chain mail and his look. I rewatched season two and three just to see signs of what Roose’s full intentions were and bam it’s right there. How he treats Jamie, how he’s upset that Robb won’t listen to him or take any of his advice except that Ramsey could stop Theon. Let’s go back to HOTD, and I’m going to get called out for this by someone, but couldn’t Rhaenyra have fucked at least someone with silver hair? Preferably a mixed skin one, she got dealt a bad hand when it came to her first husband and no one can say that he wasn’t a good father to the boys. Anyway I’m on neither side, i know what happens, so I call it team watcher or team chaos . We know what’s going to happen but we still want to see it on screen. Anyway man if you read this I’d very much appreciate it

there is difference between real fans and "fans".it is known that GRRM's vision of story is not the usual "protagonists vs antagonists" cause in his universe majority of his characters are grey. why people cheer for rhaenyra is mostly because of the commercials and HotD posters where Milly Alcock was shown thousand times and mostly people who dont even know who the f*** she is or read the books...they are usually her fans only because they saw some cute girl with crown on pics whereby they concluded that she must be the protagonist of the show. When we look back and when we focus on facts and justice,,,we will notice that Rhaenyra is more of an antagonist than an protagonist.First she uses her puberty the wrong way and forces an kingsguard into sex.Later on she dumps him for another one this time an city watch named Harwin Strong. And this time she is more reckless cause Criston Cole no matter how bad he is,he managed to not get her pregnant while Harwin managed to get her pregnant THREE times!!! And then she calls people liars whenever they adress her immoral issue! Then she claims kids are of Laenor Velaryon thou even his own kin noticed that something is wrong and that these kids arent his!His uncle even paid with his own life for bringing this issue to light when he was beheaded by Daemon for the irony that he actually was right! And this makes Viserys,Daemon and Rhaenyra somehow as tyrants! The greens are just the way they are cause they are forced by blacks to be this way!

Well reason why I can relate with how Aemond carries himself, quit and stays to himself, no I never had a chance to ever find and have me a Dragon to ride, God knows if I would have then just as probably Aemond has in his mind, I went through growing up being the word bullied doesn't give enough meaning to him or myself also, see if it's just like most kids growing up these days they just have to worry when going to school or out playing around the neighborhood but not with Aemond or myself, growing up being only step kid in a family of 8 of us 5 step brothers and sisters, my mother and bastard step dad and myself, I had to wake up to being kicked in my face as I was only one had no bed to sleep in til I was 15 and that's because made enough money cutting grass to buy a bed myself, when my brothers there were 4 had a sister she bullied me also but more so mentally not physically and believe me if a person is evil enough then then the mental shit being done to you so many times was a I
Lot worse off then being beat on and I would have rather her kick me around then the things she put me through growing up, see Aemond was always being bullied by his cousins and even his own damn brother in the show that's why for him didn't take to long till how he carried himself everyday getting up and his whole day was always horrible, see I don't want to go into no more about me I was just feeling everything he was going through when watching the show, from 8 years old till I was 16 my step brothers had beat up so many times and I'm not talking about few licks black eye and over with, hell no during the time frame I just mentioned of my age I went to the hospital 7 times 3 of them I had to be there for 3 days to 7 days don't remember each time for what, so I'm all pulling for Aemond

there are so many things I could pick apart in this video, but the one that got me to start typing is the assumption Viserys never reprimanded Rheanyra for having bastards. Just because it happened off screen doesn't mean it never happened. We've seen him reprimand her several times but he knows full well he created this problem by marrying Alicent after naming Rheanyra heir and insisting she be heir after fathering two legitimate children. It's the game of power. No one's moral here, not even Jon fucking Snow. No one has a better claim or argument to the throne. Power will inevitably fall into the hands of those best able to maneauver the treacherous political terrain of Westeros! When will you people ever get that!

Aemond's timing was off. That was the major problem. He was bullied by his brother as well, so I don't see how you can pin that on just Rhaenyra's kids. Also, Rhaenyra's actions have nothing to do what led to the fight. Ameond didn't help things either by also insulting Rhaenyra's kids during the confrontation, and made no attempt deescalate the matter. Lastly, it was an all out fight, yeah the blacks started it on a physical note, however, when Aemond picked up the rock and continued to approach them, he had that knife coming. He gave no warning for them to back away, nor did he try to leave.
