  • Hi, my name is Matt Stigler and I am a pro footballer (or soccer) performance coach. The whole goal of this channel is to bring you guys pro footballer level athletic performance advice that I couldn't afford and didn't have access to as a kid completely for free.

    Hey matt could you make a vid on medium stim conditioning especially examples like drills ans stuff like that bc thats important

    You seem like a knowledgeable guy and I respect your opinions of these exercises, but you are talking about one of the most prestigious sports clubs in the world, if not, THE most prestigious. That comes with the resources to search for and employ the top sports physiologists in the world. You should speak more humbly when you mention the exercises they perform, even if you don’t like them. I’m sure their trainers have a reason why they use a BOSU lol

      I get why you’re sayinh this but it’s the same logic as “just listen to doctors”. What happens when I find two doctors that disagree? We need to be able to critically think. And if you can’t come up with a reason, and I can’t come up with a reason, that is a bad sign.

      Also if you are in the field you will know how many other pro strength coaches are anti bosu ball. So who should we listen to then?

      Don’t get your pride involved when talking about exercises. It can still be an unnecessarily difficult exercise, even if it’s your favourite club.
      Why don’t you speak more humbly when talking to an actually professional.
      Maybe if Real Madrid got rid of some of these unnecessary exercises, they wouldn’t have as many injuries .

      Bosu is great. This guy is a nobody. He doesn't have remarkable speed or acceleration,.....and nor do his athletes.

      @@sasquatchrosefarts you can look at my website to check testimonials to see if my athletes are fast or not. I also have a 4.6 40 despite accel being a weak point for me. Lastly you also can’t give me one reason the bosu is good besides “it’s great” which is an incredibly strong argument.

    I saw your John Terry video, what type of treadmill workout would you recommend if people don’t have access to a field due to weather etc

    ​@YourFootballTrainer matt when progressing heavy core excercises to lighter weight core excercises could i just use the same excercises but doing it faster at light weights when progressing heavy at slow speeds to light weight at fast speed or should i completly change the excercise?

      You have the option to do either. I would suggest keeping the exercise the same at first, and if you do change it try and make it a similar exercise. So maybe the same exercise but in a different stance/position
