      My black widow end can sounds like yours with the baffle in when my baffle is out . The only disappointment with black widow is that they etched not for road use onto the silencer . They never told me this in the description on the eBay ad. I rang them and they told me none of there exhausts are road legal. It’s really small and you wouldn’t notice it unless it was pointed out .

    • @TyresNTorque
      @TyresNTorque  9 дней назад

      I would guess and say as long as you are not riding like you’re racing and you are not bouncing your bike off the redline, then I think you should be ok. I’m not sure the police are interested in small details like that. But that’s just my opinion, I do however completely understand your concern.
      Personally I have been riding with the baffle in and I can’t see why the exhaust I am using can’t be used on the road. There are loads of other bikes and cars on the road that are louder than my bike 😊
      Have you gone back to stock or are you still using the Black Widow system?

      @TyresNTorque  2 дня назад

      Hello, thank you very much for your comment John 😊
      I believe the police have bigger issues to be concerned over and unless you are riding irresponsibly or revving the bike up, I doubt there will be an issue.
      In terms of insurance if it’s stated on the insurance then it should be ok. 👍

  • @ride-fly-dive
    @ride-fly-dive 7 дней назад

    My opinion is not that positive. Upgrading to an aftermarket exhaust, you do not have expectations just for an aggressive sound only, but for some specs before to buy. Searching at their web site you can see nothing except "Not street legal". Any specs about weight difference? Any specs about horsepower and torque? Any dyno graph? Nothing. So i am not going to spend even a cent for something that offers only sound (which is something that i do not like at all). So, good looking but no in deep upgrading. I will stay at the Remus option.

    • @TyresNTorque

      Hello, thank you for your comment.
      This video is an unboxing video and to give others an idea of sound difference. I do have a full review coming soon, so I have not gone into weight difference, fuel economy difference or power difference. Unfortunately thought I will not be doing any dyno runs.
      How do you find your exhaust from Remus?

    • @Dylan-sw8jm
      @Dylan-sw8jm 7 дней назад +1

      I feel you don’t know much about tuning engines and if your trying to gain power exhausts are far from the best way to do it. Exhausts are pretty much just for the sound changes which brings a lot of people joy in hearing, you don’t have to spend your money on them but that doesn’t mean there a bad product.

    • @ride-fly-dive
      @ride-fly-dive 7 дней назад +1

      @@TyresNTorque Remus is a real upgrading. You know the benefits of weight, power and torque before to buy. Basically, There are two types of exhausts for Transalp. Those who are compatible with aftermarket side cases and those who are compatible only with the OEM side cases. This something that any Transalp owner has to study before decide the available options.

    • @ride-fly-dive
      @ride-fly-dive 7 дней назад +1

      @@Dylan-sw8jm I do not expect power from an exhaust. I just want to know just few measured specifications. Stock vs aftermarket. Power, torque, weight, db, and just a dyno graph to prove that this product is a real upgrade. By the way, i am an Volvo engineer specialist

    • @TyresNTorque
      @TyresNTorque  7 дней назад

      There are so many exhausts out there for the Transalp all being slightly different. I think most people are wanting a little more noise from fitting a new exhaust and are not too bothered about adding a few bhp. But the reduced weight, power difference and better looks are definitely worth factoring into it 😊
      The exhausts available from black widow are very good and as above I haven’t gone into detail on weight etc as I’m keeping that for the review video 😊
      I’m glad you like your Remus exhaust. Are you running a full system?
