Indian football is on the rise, much love from singapore. From what I have seen in this video is a very spirited and confident play from India.
All they need now is simplicity, they tend to over complicate their play maybe because of the big crowd they want to impress and entertain?
Overall they are a good bunch but they are trying to entertain rather than trying to win, thats my opinion from what I have seen.

What I seen from this game is Winger lacking support from attacking mid field. Left wing does a good job by passing through defenders but he lacks support in centre

I think other than what you all are saying, they seemed to lack communication and morale as well.
This was the first time our U 17 Indian team played internationally, and as a country of 1.3B people, everyone had high hopes and expectations from these young boys, and they were made aware of this and inadvertently pressured to play well. All of this didn’t go down too well. In any case, we’ll definitely do better next time. 💪🏼

It's U-17 but some players are more older than my father. One thing they played very well but the blue jersey players are very selfish they are playing individually. This game is all about creating a chance for friends, passing the Ball, showing good disciplines etc etc. Football is all about Teamwork it's not individual game. Anyway Good to see the Josh and skills of the different players. Hoping to see India in the next FIFA World Cup .

Messi or Ronaldo is something what but they don't play alone and even they do they make it easy pass at the ending but you can see here their is so destination rather then doing dribblings. Senior team plays much better with passes. That's what we will rise near end.

2. they should focus on the skill like 360 Turns.. that would make defenders bamboozled ..
3. using more mind and brain .. more intelligence is needed from those lads..
4. coach always focus on forward passing.. that will never help..
5. coach does not tell players to hold possession of the ball..
The barca style would have been just PERFECT for this team..
and 6. The first touches and ball controls (mainly long balls) need to be improved a loooooot.

These players have good skills and ball control, thats a positive, what they should be trained to do is play 1-2 touch football, they hold the ball too long and try to become Messi & Ronaldo, but then losing out to better teams because the other team performs as a team and they perform as group of Individuals

@@BhaaratFootball we still haven't fond anyone near Chhetri's finishing calibre and we have to find someone who can do good finishing for the team even Without or with chhetri.. bcuz as we all know he's with us for only 4-5 yrs at max. If we don't find someone as atleast 30-40% close to chhetri in the near 1-2 yr future then its gonna be doomsday for us. And I don't want that to happen.

I see that a lot of the comments seem to criticize the dribbling abilities of the team. That could be modelled into a positive thing. They are about 20 now. I'm sure they've learnt a lot. Team play is important but individual brilliance(if the team has a guy that good) will win you games a lot as well.

Coaching just needs to display that a goal is more than just a goal to the shot taker but the players that set them up. Assists and pass to assists are just as important and will be the key to winning more games. I saw a lot of potential with the wingers, they have potential. The strikers need to get somewhere near post to the winger with ball and be ready for more headers. Maybe that is why they lack in defense is because they are only used to their own play style when in practice so they can’t apply their practices to games. Good luck though to them
