Young Girl Helps Tracking Down Cafe Bomber | Chicago P.D.

- As District 21 is struggling to come to terms with the loss of one of the teams they are forced to put their personal feelings aside when a café is bombed. The unit has several suspects and only one good eye-witness, who happens to be a minor.
Season 02, Episode 21: 'There's My Girl'
Halstead pulls some strings to convince the mom to let him question Isabella (guest star Haley Seda) on what she saw. Atwater finds himself in hot water when he makes a crucial mistake. Thanks to the tech-savvy Mouse (guest star Samuel Hunt) the team is able to gain important intel that could help solve the case. Meanwhile, Voight helps Platt when she comes up against several roadblocks in an attempt to get a memorial stone for their fallen member.

I understand why the mom didn't want her daughter to testify. Dangerous people don't care who you are or if you're a kid, they will hurt you.
I thought mom was a total jerk, but learning she was just trying to save her daughters life made a bit more sense

It makes no logical sense to turn into that green car. More often that not you put your foot on the break and check your surroundings if you are in or likely to cause immediate danger, then you find somewhere safe to park if you are able.

Ngl it kinda rubbed me the wrong way when she originally wouldn’t let her daughter talk to him, but only let her daughter talk to him when they said they would pay for her enrolment at a new school… like just say all u want is their money if u wanna be that obvious about it.
The enrolment isn’t just given to Isabella as a bribe. Although it’s an expensive, well regarded school, the most important thing is that it relocated Isabella into a sofa community where she can’t be targeted by the people she told on. The mother can’t afford to move her & enrol her in any new school, not just that one. Halstead is guaranteeing the mother that her concerns for her daughter are solved by moving to that new school.
