- For his SS23 men’s collection, Junya Watanabe pays tribute to pop art in a playful way.
The uniform style garments showcase a combination of pop art and trademarked brands such as Coca-Cola, Honda, and Netflix.
For this collection, Watanabe is pleased to feature graphics from four iconic pop art artists: Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Roy Lichtenstein, and Keith Haring.
“The Andy Warhol Foundation is delighted to collaborate with Junya Watanabe Man to celebrate Warhol’s continued influence on contemporary culture through the bold and unique lens of designer Junya Watanabe.” said Michael Dayton Hermann, Director of Licensing, Marketing and Sales at The Andy Warhol Foundation.
"The Estate of Roy Lichtenstein is thrilled with the wonderful men’s collection Watanabe has created using two classic Lichtenstein images. We hope that this unique fashion line will give joy, humor and great pleasure to all who see or wear the clothing.” The Estate of Roy Lichtenstein.
The collaboration between Junya Watanabe Man, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring was done in partnership with Artestar, a global licensing agency and creative consultancy representing high-profile artists, photographers, designers and creatives.

The silence speaks Volumes. This is a beautiful collection ., each piece EACH PIECE bringing you further and further in. It is walking Artists.. I love the way the pieces are cut.,..fun and calm but differently amazing

Look what i found , and it only cost me 5 dollars for everything I'm wearing.
I love Junya Watanabe's designs BUT this collection is nothing new. Pop art has been done to death by so many other designers for so many years now.
