There's no one like Peter Forsberg! We will always love him in Denver and you will still see people wearing his jersey. He skates and plays like no other!
- The hockey coach from high school Anders Melinder told us to shoot one handed backhands to hit the plexiglas. Stand completely still and just whip it. Basically just shoot. Let me see if I can hit the crossbar.
For anyone wondering what they were saying
I am from Norway, last time I visited Lillehammer, I saw Corey Hirsch still standing in line at the hot dog stand outside the stadium waiting to be served. 😀
For those who never played hockey and handled a hockey stick and a puck: that move from Forsberg is quite impressive! 😮
100% this. Even getting the puck off the ice this way is impressive, let alone ripping it top shelf. The wrist strength required is insane!
And that is a backhand 😮
He says “now I’ll try to hit the crossbar” and then he does it twice in a row effortlessly. Hahaha
hahaha totally insane,, its not I know but not many can do that like he does it :-)
Where is this outdoor park ? Haha imagine going to your neighbourhood Rink and seeing Peter Forsberg backhanding pucks with his wrist haha
This outdoor rink is loceted in domsjöskolan (school)
Although not the rink, I've seen Bergeron, Simon Gagné, Antoine Vermette and I believe it was Vlasic all at the driving range at once. My friend also regularly served Patty Roy in his bar
If im not mistaking, this rink is where the Sedin brothers, Peter Forsberg, Markus Näslund and other NHL players has grown around
That is insane!
Foppa its best of all 😊
go avs forever
Foppa..

I like that comment 😂 but he spells it Sidney I think.
