Which luxury brand do you think you’d be most comfortable driving an SUV from in the snow? I love the design of the XC40 but I’m unsure of its capabilities in its AWD system.
I think that any luxury brand awd system will be ok on snow. They will just have different characteristics, so depends what you like (rwd biased, fwd biased, performance oriented, traction oriented etc.)
4x4 tests on rollers - duszaniespokojna channel specifically traction oriented I’d say. Anything would be better than my rwd 2010 c300 I have now on snow if I go to a luxury awd suv I just would want to make sure it can go uphill in snow well. Of course lots of it is up to the driver as well but what would be a car that would make a bad driver look like they’re driving well in snow? Lol

Audi got traction when wheels touched side of rollers and with the help of changing balance of the car. Test would be successful if wheel(s) on ground got enough traction to move car from rollers. This way, hit the throttle and move steering wheel is not the right way.

@@arekb5951 Widziałem ten test i tak mi się wydaje że te auta nie miały porownywalnych silników, wydaje mi się że w teście bmw było słabsze od audi ale z lepszym napędem.

Wszystko zależy od sytuacji i samochodu. Najbardziej ogólnie - jeśli układ nie dusi auta, to wspomniane systemy powinny być włączone.

@@RemixRampage Definitely something fwd biased. Probably XC40 will be good choice. Q3, X1, GLA may be more performance oriented.

Probably it's the fault of the ESP when you are uncontrolled it should take off the gas.
Usually the esp limits the throttle but you disable it and you are good to go
