Hello Luke, I red stories of Sherlock Holms and all books Arthur Conan Doyle on Ukrainian language… I am here first time and I am glad to meet you and listen and read this stories on English, with you I will improve my English, hopefully one day I will speak a little closer like you😊 Thank you
Hi, Luke. What a wonderful combination: a new episode with a Sherlock Holms story and a visit at the optician, where I was treated with that atropine drops. I couldn’t even see a bird flying in my room, but I still enjoyed the story, your voice and your explanations. Thank you.
Hi Teacher Luke. If you are seeing this, I would like to thank you for doing these contents. I especially enjoy the sherlock holmes series for my EFL skills. I have started to become familiar with understanding the contexts and I thank you for it. ❤
Thank you very much Luke... I've really enjoyed listening to this story.. your narration is perfect... Your channel helps me a lot to learn English.. thanks a lot Luke
Dear Luke, Thank you for such a fantastic performance of my favorite author. You are not only the best teacher, but a wonderful actor which is a perfect combination. Thank you!
I love your podcasts reading a story. Especially this bird story 😊 it was the best choice to spend a rainy day today. Thanks for it. I ❤ your podcast. It was a recommendation of my English teacher a year ago. Since then I'm a constantly listener 😊
Thank you Luke for another short story episode 🤗! My brain 🧠 is ready to absorb all the English that Luke provided us with😎😂. I love the short story episodes but also I love your rambling and walk and talk episodes . I'm looking forward to listening to your new rambling episode from this new year 🎊. But really, all of your episodes are wonderful 🌟 because I find something interesting in all of them😁.
In my opinion, you are like the bird 🪿 in the story who holds a BLUE Jewel 💎 in his body, which means that your Jewel is how to teach us English in very joyful and effective ways which we did not find it in schools unfortunately theses days…thanks for sharing this with us❤
Another Sherlock Holmes Podcast, thank you very much!! I really enjoyed your Sherlock Holmes the Speckled Band podcast. Im glad we got another one, thank you very much
What a beautiful story !!!! I had never heard it before. It's amazing to listen to you reading without pauses or hesitation. I love your storytelling but I don't like those fearful, I'd rather those about misterious birds !! Yes I managed to include the clue word. Thank you so much for your generous work.
Hi Luke, sincerely started listening to your podcast this year. you are doing the episodes really great. and yeah i am registering "BIRD" as 14th indicating i have made all the way to the end of this.
Go ahead thanks for efforts , I really interested in your content ,reading out the written stories really useful for learning English, thank you very much
Hello Luke, Thank you for this episode. I'm a big fan of Arthur Conan Doyle and his stories about Sherlock Holmes. I was wondering if you could recommend some good British films based on the stories of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. I’d prefer them to be British, but if there are any American ones you think are worth watching, I’d love to hear about those too. Thank you for all your hard work. Please keep going-I really appreciate what you do. All the best, and goodbye, bye, bye, bye...
Hello Luck, i just start following you from less than a week i used to hear you in my gym time & actually you motivating me not only in life, practicing + you encouraged me to speak with no shy .. so thank you for your amazing efforts from here ( Egypt) to the moon 🖤
Great, Luke! It's always lovely to hear your episodes. I read this story in its original language a few days ago but had some difficulties understanding it. I can generally understand 90% of what you say in the podcasts, but this time, I don’t know if I would have understood the story if I hadn’t read it before. However, I don't give up!
Dear Teacher, many thanks for the great story! I like your lessons, and those with stories are my favorite ones. About birds) this winter me and my husband saved two ducks)) We moved them from frozen pond to unfrozen river (to their mates). If we hadn’t done this, a fox would have eaten them. Thank you again!
Hi there my friend, I enjoy your videos. Honestly, I've been able to learn quiet a lot of vocabulary. Thank you, I appreciate it. Gettings from Colombia,👍 my pal.
I feel so lucky to stumble across your channel...I love the expression ( jail BIRD )..I love the story so much, though it's difficult to an extent, but you explained it completely.. like your sense of humor.. waiting for more short story Thank you 🙏
Listening to that story wasn’t easy for me but I carried it out. Thank you Luke, without you explanation I would be hopeless at understanding. Ryder was really resourceful using a goose in such an unconventional way. Fortunately he didn’t end up as a jail bird.
Hello Luke, I’m a listener from Sierra Leone 🇸🇱. I have been listening to you for a year and I had never made a comment, I’m one of those ninjas I guess. I enjoyed the story and funnily “Alpha” was mentioned in the story and that’s my name. Thanks for this great piece of work, I will continue to listen till I take the IELTS exam.
Hello Luke and all listeners, I think the story was not good compare to others. The analizing of a person just from the sings of a hat was interesting. After that, the story went on as though an American serial criminal investigation. I couldn't feel the classic Sherlock Holmes mytery and magic. However, Luke's perfect imitations of the characters is making the story better. Thanks for your great effort. We all listeners love short stories but to find a good one is really diffucult. The faılt is yours, Luke. You are fueling our expectations and raising the bar😊 Thanks again and more stories 🙏
Allowing Ryder to escape to Europe, Sherlock Holmes killed two BIRDS with one stone. 😁 He saved both men from jail. 🍀 Thank you for a nice episode. It's very noticeable that you put your heart and soul into your work, you even prepared that blue stone for the video. 😍 I wonder, the sign on the wall- Eat your fish- it’s not about nourishing one’s stomach, is it?
Bird 😊 Hi Luke, i really enjoyed this episode. Very clear and perfect explanation. Thank u so much for another episode. Waiting fr more. Wen the story finished i typed the comment . So i needed to edit to add bird😌
hi luke, mentioning tottenham court road and goodge street you reminded me of one of these office buildings in this area where i used to work as a cleaner and this pub rising sun where i would go with my colleague. and of cours baker street, the sherlock holmes museum
