- Scenes from the Maltese islands as they appeared in various films over the years - part 1 of 4. Films on this clip are Midnight Express (1978), The Count of Monte Cristo (2002), Eyewitness (Susan George) (1970), Swept Away (Madonna) (2002), Revelation (2001). The old lift at the Upper Barrakka Gardens, Valletta, can be seen in the extract from "Eyewitness".
Awesome! I was an extra in some movies filmed in Malta and I really am enjoying seeing these videos!! Well done - I always wanted to see something like this - thank you :-)
priset hafna :) vera inhobb il films u meta inkun naf li saru fmalta iktar u iktar :) keep up the good work ;)
It's the title song from the film played by Fairfield Parlour. Surprisingly, the soundtrck features "additional music" by Van Der Graaf Generator.
Awesome collection of films shot in Malta! However there is a major film that was left out: The MacKintosh Man starring Paul Newman. This is a spy movie shot that was partly shot in Malta
Thanks for your comment. I will upload some more in the next few days...
Thanks!!
unfortunately, I cant find the whole song 'eyewitness'.
thanks anyway :)
whats the song playing during eyewitness??
Hello. Do you know if it is possible to go to Fort St. Elmo to make at least outside photos?
Hi hlupekkk yes you can go to Fort St. Elmo both all the way round on the outside but also some parts inside. You can visit the war museum inside the fort.
Thank you very much for your answer. I'm actually interested in going to the courtyard that is visible from 0:14 in your video. I want to take exact the same photo as frame from the movie. Do you think it is possible?
That section is generally not open to the public but sometimes the gate is open and you can enter, no guarantees unfortunately!
Too bad. Since you know so much maybe you could tell me as well where is located street from last shot (0:33).
That is actually the road just outside Fort St. Elmo. Obviously in real life it is not so empty - compare this www.panoramio.com/photo/39195962?source=wapi&referrer=kh.google.com
