I too, have loved this song, had only heard Cara Dillon's version until I just decided to look for a version that was more clear on the lyrics. This foots the bill. This is lovely, and being slower than Cara's, I find that more pleasing, and appropriate. Thank you, Martin, for this video, and for the lovely views of the place being sung of!
And, what a lovely voice this Lass has! I will surely look for more on this platform!
    Eire & Scotia Go Bragh!

I've also loved this song for years.
Great edit (mysteriously Deanta's version is unavailable on Spotify).
Don't take this as criticism but (unless I'm mistaken) the correct spelling is "Inisheoghain" ;)

      Thanks for the mention
InishowenInishowen (Irish: Inis Eoghain, meaning "island of Eoghan") is a peninsula in the north of County Donegal in Ireland. It is the largest peninsula on the island of Ireland. The Inishowen peninsula includes Ireland's most northerly point, Malin Head. The Grianan of Aileach, a ringfort that served as the royal seat of the over-kingdom of Ailech, stands at the entrance to the peninsula.
