    OT student here and this helped visualized our lesson a lot! it's hard to imagine what our profs mean when we're using our (adult) classmates and baby dolls 😂 kudos to you!

    That was a good explanation I have doubt why he is reacting late in the left side ?what would it be?

    • @StarfishTherapies
      @StarfishTherapies  2 года назад

      I believe he is reacting late on his right side because he has a tilt preference to his left. This changes his sense of midline so he has to move further to the left to get the right to react. The right is also lengthened so it's harder to activate.

    Thank you for the brilliant explanation 👏.
    Does the body preference result in muscle weakness if it is not corrected in time?

      Thanks! And yes it can/does result in weakness because of muscle length imbalances.

    Great demo! Would you teach these to your families working with kiddos with torticollis?

      Yes although I would base it on the family's ability to carry over but the more they can do it the faster you will see things resolve. Hope that helps.

    0:45 Not feeding them at least 1.5 - 2 hours before NDT treatment is a rule of thumb 😎
