Great video. I personally think only having the squad lead markers on the respawn screen would be best. That way you can get a picture of the battlefield but once in game you will have to rely on your map (including new map markers) to move and navigate
Yeah I'm torn. On one hand I agree with you and at the same time I think it will help squad leaders communicate and work together. In both cases you still don't get to see where your own position is.
Everon in Reforger is genuinely one of the most realistic and beautiful maps created for a game, it has incredible RPG / Campaign potential going forward with how everything is laid out and with detail.
Would be cooler if the birds only flew away when the door closes rather than opening. Though I can see it changing if they give the option to kick in doors/slam them shut or open/close them quietly.
These things are all so enticing! The birds are awesome, especially for giving away positions. The murals and other aesthetics add that touch of realism. The power is what I'm really looking forward to, being able to cut or add light during those dark hours. You already convinced me last night to check out experimental, but seeing this stuff is that final little nudge I needed to stop being lazy and download it finally. As always, another well done video!
Thanks for your comment man! IDK why RUclips placed it in review. After playing around with experimental, we found that the birds are messing with us more so as they fly back to their positions, rather than flying away when someone makes a noise. You end up getting paranoid at every sound! haha

I know it would take a lot of time but adding subtitles seems to improve viewer retention or something alot of the big RUclipsr do it. :) your video thumbnails are really good btw.
I personally think it's way more important to allow the squad leader to see his own marker so you don't have to waste the entire game trying to figure out where you are and where you need to go so action would be more common on the battlefield
i dont know man i can get over the feeling that arma is infantizing itself. like it doesnt feel hardcore and mature anymore. especially with this new flamboyant and vibrant art style they've chosen that is making me feel the same way fallout 4 did when it released. colorful and childish. it just does have the same underlying tone or feeling arma 2 did. in that of being hardcore and gritty anymore
i think arma has some really good textures and the idea is fantastic. but the movement is so janky. it's always been this way and it's very off putting
I concur, I wish for a higher animation frequency and quality , befitting of a 4k resolution. A realistic appearance does need to be matched by a more detailed world animation.

Bohemia murals Won't play for us First you have to fix the physics, the animations that slide on the floor and the first and Third person view there are priorities that must be fixed before adding these trivial things
