This girls story is just like mine. She looks like she could be my little sister too. But I grew up with both parents, middle class family, catholic school my whole life, even took piano lessons too. I also used fentanyl and opiates in general for 11years and started around the age she did. I also suffer from anxiety and depression. Pills were my first experience too. I was homeless with my bf for a few years and towards the end, we were just getting well. Weren't really getting high. I remember the running around all day, constantly getting money, go see the dope man, use, then go back out and make money.
But we were both sick and tired of being sick and tired. I unexpectedly got pregnant and it completely changed my life. We both got clean, had a beautiful boy, and are still clean- 16 months this month.
Life is great on the other side! You were clean before, you can do it again. Its crazy when I was using, I couldn't even picture myself living a different life. I thought I was too far gone, and just settled being miserable. Now when I think about it, it's the opposite. I can't believe I even lived that way for as long as I did. Its mindblowing. Stay strong hunny, you can beat this. Just gotta put as much energy as you did using & staying well, into your sobriety. It's not easy but does get easier over time. You're in my prayers.💜💜

It’s totally the getting well part that ruins your progress. I do consider myself an addict although I’m lucky enough to have a home and my family, getting sober and getting over that hump is so hard. I can’t even count all the mental breakdowns I’ve had from coming down and not having anything for a day or two. I know now though that being under the influence is not worth it at all!!! I do relapse occasionally unfortunately but in my opinion that’s all part of getting sober and staying clean. No road is perfectly paved 💛

Can I ask you how they or you treated the fetynal wd? Bc of the tranq it’s like there’s nothing they will do in detox for it and I know so many ppl won’t go to detox bc they don’t know if they will get help for the fetty wd

    • @ayeee818
      @ayeee818 3 года назад +1

@@christinacasapulla3770 See I'm not too sure because when I got clean, it was just fentanyl and no tranq. Not sure if it was because it was 18months ago and it didn't come around yet or just my area doesn't have tranq in the shit. Idk🤷🏻‍♀️
But this time when I got clean for real, I just joined the methadone clinic and didnt go to detox. I have been to detox and rehab several times for fentanyl before that though. And one place I'd always go to, they gave everyone methadone for opiate wd. It was a 5 day fast taper where it went 40mgs, 30mgs, 20mgs, 10mgs, 5mgs then jump off. And theyd give you comfort meds (clonidine, vistiril, trazadone, ect) in between your methadone doses too.
Some places will do a suboxone detox, others will do methadone, and some will do cold Turkey. Honestly I'd call in advance and ask questions to find out what exactly they give you there to detox. The methadone helped immensely. And I wouldnt advise going somewhere where they use suboxone or subutex. Because then you'd have to wait at least 24hrs to take your first sub to avoid precipitated wds. And with the different types of fent around nowadays, people have to wait 36-48+ hrs because some of them have a long halflife. Where with methadone, you don't have to wait at all. And you can take it the second you start to feel sick. Best of luck to you!💜

I never thought I’d use after having my son but I did relapse 8 years later. Please remember that you must work a program, work with a therapist, look for a mommy and me group for early socialization for baby and meet other moms. Waterbabies is a swimming class for moms and babies. Most YMCA’s offer them. You can get a discount family membership if you make under a certain amount. Just some suggestions for new moms.

If a girl starts tricking she most likley will only do that for money because it’s such easy money. If girls are attractive however they can make the same if not more panhandling. So based of my experience, I believe her.

Idk what it is with everyone claiming to make $300-$500+ daily by panhandling alone. It’s extremely, extremely rare to make that daily just from panhandling.
Now I do understand not wanting to admit that you’re tricking. It’s fucked up that your “boyfriend” brought you out here and has you making the money. I noticed you said YOU get up in the morning to go panhandle, you did not say WE.
So typical. That’s how it usually goes. Guys mooch off a naïve, trusting, caring girl & take complete advantage of her. What a shame. I hope you can get your life together sooner rather than later, before it’s too late, and I hope you realize how much easier it’ll be if you get rid of that 200lbs of dead weight you’re carrying around.

I just came up on this video...and that's what I thought too. Notice how her eyes shift all over the place when she says she doesn't do dates...but she's i-s panhandling in what looks like a nice neighborhood. I know by watching AML Films interviews that a "bundle" of Fentanyl, which is around 15 to 18, which is what she said she did in a day, cost about $75-$80 in Kensington so would be around $100 in a nicer neighborhood, times 2 for her boyfriend. I'm think she really d-o-e-s panhandle for most of the money, but does a trick every once in a while. It doesn't matter, does it? She looks like she's the girl next door...I never would have pegged her as a drug addict living in a motel room and the streets. Sounds like her family is fairly wealthy...horses, private school, piano lessons, expensive vacations, as a kid...I wonder why they don't just come and get her, and put her in rehab, take her home afterwards, etc.?

Shiny LittleStar, I tend to agree.. Sometimes the traumas happen so early on, that the memories are suppressed so far back, that you can't even remember what happened. I was 35, 10 years into my addiction and went into treatment and as soon as I started getting clean, those horrid childhood traumas came flooding out... I had 30year old memories that suppressed so far back, but that is the great thing about the brain, it is a survival mechanism that helps us deal and function with daily life without going insane... and maybe a lot of addicts are ashamed of what people did actually do to them, but they're just not ready to discuss it openly.... and that's what still keeps them stuck in their addiction! Until I could fully understand and face my demons, I wasn't capable of maintaining any length of sobriety.. But by God's grace and mercy I was able to face them, work on them and I have been clean over 7 years🙌🏼🙌🏼🙏

I am a mom and I can see the HOPE in your eyes, go home before it’s too late. You don’t belong out there and it does not define you. Draw strength from the love and support of your family and don’t look back. You have nothing to be ashamed, of only life to fight for. You+ determination = success and nothing worth it is easy. I’m sure your mother is so proud to have a wonderful daughter, and she loves you to the moon and back! believe it and go home. 💗❤️🙏🏼💪🏼

She said she is in fact concerned with what drugs she's putting in her body, then you asked her if she's afraid to die and she casually admits "no".. that hopeless feeling but at the same time, she has to be scared of dying. The idea of not knowing what you're 'medicating' with but that not being enough to make an addict stop. She's so young still! She still has a glimmer of hope in her pretty eyes, she's still coherent and doesn't appear to be nearly as bad off as a lot of the people you interview Mal.. i hope she can gain the strength to go after a better life. Addiction is a beast and nobody is exempt from falling into that lifestyle. She said it's hard because nobody supports her or wants to help her.. they don't trust her enough... and that has to be one of the worst feelings for an addicted soul.. you know you've hurt people due to your problem but there's nothing you can do to make that go away. Sometimes not even getting clean is enough. They will love you but no longer trust you.. People will unfortunately still look at you like "once an addict, always an addict" and that's another point that keeps people feeling alone, keeping them 'stuck' 😔 she's so beautiful and still has the chance to reclaim her life. I hope she does.

What you’re doing is great Mal. I’ve watched your videos from the beginning. Your interview style and questions have come a long way. Also the intros and throwbacks are very well done and a nice addition. Keep it up Mal.

That boyfriend is bad news. I'm sure he's the person who told her he "loves" her today. He probably knows people are more likely to give her money than him. So sad to see people my age lost in the grips of addiction. I'm glad other people picked up on the "dates" lie. I saw it in her eyes. I don't blame her, she must be ashamed because she probably just started doing it. Gross people in this world to take advantage of her. The boyfriend being the first one.

Mal, thank you for introducing us to another beautiful soul just like every other beautiful soul in each video. I'm trying to think how to word this so I don't sound negative. I read people's comments about what the addicted person physically looks like alot. That's why there's the stigma. People assume that an addict should look a certain way. And, people are surprised when someone looks healthy to them and is an addict. I'm 40 & have been addicted to opiates/heroin/fetanyl since I was 17. I went to my first & only rehab in 2018. I thank God everyday for every single person I met there. However, most of them judged me on how I looked. My counselor said, "So, what's a suburban housewife doing in rehab?" I said, "No, ma'am, I'm just a girl from Southwest Philly who wants to get her life back." I was spending almost $300/day on drugs. Thankfully, I was working all of the time. I felt like no one believed me in rehab & that the counselors felt I would be the one out of 18 patients to survive. I also felt that they didn't set aside time for me when I asked if I could talk about some issues of mine. I wound up relapsing 7 times since 2018. I overdosed & the medics seriously cannot believe I came back. I've been clean since Aug 24, 2019. My bf of 14 yrs passed away from heroin on Mother's Day of 2019. We have an 8 year old son together. He is the strongest boy in the world. I'm sorry this is so long. I just wish the stigma of how an addict should look could disappear, but we are all human. Thank you so much for your time in reading this. Stay safe, everyone💜💞💖

I pray for you Bella. I can tell by the way you explain life and I know in my heart that you would so much love to get rid of this life and be clean and be free again. I live with a heroin addict...and she's been on it and meth for about 9 years. It's torn our family apart...Mom left me and 2 daughters cause of it. I can never leave her. She lives with me cause I can be ther... and the love I have for her, can't be weighed, and I know she has somewhere and someone who loves her and knows she's kinda safe. I pray that you have people who love you just as much...(as do Mal and the others), that will help you. All you have to do is ask. The hard drugs are so hard to kick...just so you can feel. I pray you can get off the streets and someone will take you and love you and be with you...just like we do. We love you so so much ! I pray that you will take Jesus in your heart, for you will be saved, and that He died for your sins, and to believe in God who made EVERYTHING in 6 days 6000 years ago. We still will sin cause we all were born sinners, just so we can be in Heaven someday with the Lord for eternity and with our book, free of sin. God said, He doesn't want anyone to be cast into the lake of fire and that He loves us all. I pray Bella someday soon you will be able to read this cause your worth EVERY ounce of you !❤❤
