  • I live in Japan
Talking about my life in Japan
Cultural (and not so) and everyday experiences.
    Sixty-eighth Episode: Wander Fukuoka
I found myself with 3 hours to kill in Fukuoka City again, and since some people had asked for more wandering videos, I went for a wander! I found some great things, and had a really good time, and got really tired! My legs were sore for three days!

That was fun. We will visit Fukuoka as part of our Japan visit Oct 2013. Seems a nice place when I've passed through and I thought it would be nice to spend a few days in one place to kind of get a better feel for it plus of course see more.

Actually I will be staying in Saga with my fiance and her family for a year.. The mountains are amazing! I stayed in Saga for 2 weeks during my holiday in January, and loved it.. It was snowing and we were having a morning walk. It's truly breathtaking. They stay on the mountain : ) Sure I'll hold you to it then

If you want to see some serious shrines and real Japanese architecture then make your way To Dazifu south of where you are now. It is breathtaking and a preserved city

    • @Sparkuus

It doesn't get really horribly cold, but it can dip down into minus temperatures (in Celsius) occasionally. I don't think we even got snow last winter.

someone may have asked already..but i gotta ask..since you've got the inside source living there: i've heard gangnam style is not as huge in japan as it around the rest of the world. blew up in popularity here in the usa, but i've been told that japan wasn't so receptive of it...thoughts on it?
