Thats not a good teacher then, maybe for you, but if she just does that your aren't learning. The main point of tests are so they see what you can do and what you can't, so that the things you can't do they will help with. Cheating isn't gonna help you, even if you start to get it the school work, chances are that you're behind.

Something my 6th grade history teacher did that really helped was he would tell us what day we learned or went over it, so if we went over the Nile river on Tuesday and the test was on Friday, he would say “remember our lesson on Tuesday” it was honestly great
The last one is SO relatable for me. I’ve always been the first one done with a test, and I always make a hundred or 96. It is really annoying to have to get in trouble for just being smart.
The reading of the the question and repeat parts of the question..🤬absolutely infuriating! I'm 34 yrs old & can still remember thinking "wtf..no don't walk away yet! In my science class, it is totally different. When you raise your hand, the teacher comes over and sits down, explains the problem and checks your answer.
My dad worked as a teacher and was hired as the high school ag ed teacher in Stevensville in the fall of 1986. and I’ve heard high praise from school board and former students alike on how he was fun and always helped… It’s kinda sad that now a-days it’s always so vague and they kinda make you feel like a failure.
As a trainee teacher I so get this though because you're so desperate to help but you can't that you almost try and telepathically give answers by reading the question ahaha we do it out of love!
I remember I was a student teacher and I actually got in trouble for helping during quizzes and tests. It wouldn't even be giving them the answer, I would actually just explain it to them.
The finishing super early part is so relatable. I study to the point that it is drilled in my head, so a 50 minute test with 50 questions will take me about 25-30 minutes. I also once got in trouble I'm 4th grade for doing a these flashcard tests in less than 10 minutes. It's not my fault that I was a highly intelligent 4th grader.
I vaguely remember during a test (I'm not sure if it was physics or maths) but I was struggling to answer a question and my teacher noticed and encouraged me to remember the answer to the question since it turns out that she just taught the class the material just Thursday the week prior to the exam week which also happened to be the day that I was absent (bcs ofc that would happen to me). I was already feeling resigned but when I told my teacher that I was absent that day, she actually taught me the answer to the question ON THE SPOT. Ofc she did not directly give the answer but she just made it super easy to understand and even implied the correct answer and when I chose the correct one she gave a sound of approval. Too bad I'm not too certain of which teacher it is(tho I'm leaning toward my math teacher) since I've been so lucky to have many great teachers in my junior & senior year. Man, I love that teacher, my heart still flutter in gratefulness everytime it think of that time💞
The last one is always something I struggle with, I'm always one of the first to finish, so I have to sit there. Near the end of the year I'll sometimes ask if I can listen to music while I wait and even my worst teachers would say yes.
All of my teachers are like this, except my science teacher. All you have to do is act like you confused by staring off into space, then he will coming over. He looks at what question your on, and gives you little hand motions. If you put your pencil on an answer, he will shake his head yes or no. Is is my favorite.
After 3 teachers telling me I couldn't finish double period tests in 1 period, I started waiting. Drew some pretty good stuff on the back of science exams

There are subtle hints teachers give, for example: Teachers will say they can't say if it's correct; if it's not correct, they might say no or slightly shake their head. That is unless you have my old science teacher who would straight up tell you the right answer if you ask, "Is it A, B, C, or D?"
Im rlly good at math so when i was taking a math test that was “long” and i finished in about 2-5 minutes, she saw me reading bc we would keep it on our desk until everybody was done and she was surprised then checked all my answers by grabbing my paper, after she looked shocked, when i got my test results back it was 100%

Don’t ask your teacher to help you during a test. They’ll make it harder for you to understand tbh
On one hand, it is frustrating, but at the same time it’s like you get magically smarter and suddenly understand the question whenever they do that
This actually helped me as a kid, hearing it again but outside of my brain sometimes made me understand the question
idk why but whenever a teacher does this i usually remember and get the answer

i especially hate when the teacher looks at your answer, looks at you, then announces "be sure to read question 5 carefully."
ARGH! THE PAIN! EVERY TIME IT GETS ME! :))
when i was in public school my teachers did that all the time this is so true.
