- Weber State cheer won its seventh straight Large Coed National Championship with this performance at the NCA Collegiate Championships in April 2024 in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Wildcats also won their second straight Grand National Championship with the best score of any school in any division!

Such an immensely athletic and talented roster. The 2020-2024 Weber teams really demonstrated their extraordinary National dominance. To see Kat and Caylee - literally the two greatest flyers in history - perform at the highest levels together was a privilege the likes of which the collegiate cheer world may never see again. Thank you for a truly inspirational run!

This is way beyond cheer, this is high level gymnastics.
Which is part of cheer. There's not a "limit" to cheer that you can be beyond. The limit of cheer lies at the combined limits of gymnastics, acrobatics and dance

@@eyebelieve3 Well yea, sort of. In the same way that running is a part of football. If a footballer runs really fast, you wouldn't say their showings are "beyond football, they are a high level runner" right?
Honestly I like it but I’m not sure I’d class it as cheer now. For me this has too many men, not enough Pom Poms and is too self focused when the point of cheerleading is to cheer on a team. I think both this and the NFL style have their value, this should probably be an Olympic sport but I wouldn’t call it cheerleading, it’s more dance/gymnastics. I get that it’s an evolution but maybe it’s time to split the two.
