Twilight is such a beautiful time of the day, just a magical moment between sunlight and starlight. Thank you for this lovely, tranquil video. So nice to see the lights coming on and the birds going off to rest.
Lovely neighbourhood. Living in India which has become so much crowed with 1.4B people, my heart craves for this kind of solitude and peaceful neighbourhood. To have enough space has become a super luxury in my country and having this much space without boundary walls is just a dream.
@@joshboston2323 India’s population is 1.4 billion and still growing. Everywhere you go is now crowded except for deserts and farmlands. Space is becoming luxury now.
When i was a kid in the 60's growing up in suburbia like this, all the large families of 4, 5 , or 6 kids per household would've been out at this time of the evening roaming the streets, playing kick the can or hide n seek, and generally just whiling away those endless summer nights of youthful innocence. Looks like the one or two kids in today's typical American upper middle class families have all their "free" time pre-programmed ... so no time for such wonderful, "aimless" pursuits. I'm thankful for those halcyon memories though, and this video reminded me so much of that.
I don't think pre-programmed free time is the only problem, social media, video games and tv play a big part in this too, sadly most kids nowadays would rather be on their phone, computer or tv than outside socializing and playing with other kids. I grew up in early 2000s when we were still spending a lot of time outside, seeing this just makes me feel bad for this generation.
In Russia, people often wonder why American suburbs are always empty. Despite the fact that in Russia there are on average 1.4 children per woman, children are always walking in the evening on the street and there are a lot of them. Also, there are always adults on the streets, even in residential areas. The emptiness of American suburbs, with their luxury, looks ominous. It feels like all the people have disappeared at once.
only few people have the ability to feel and taste the vibes in walks and places like this. you can feel that this houses and empty steets are full of vibes and what i like the most is that i can feel this vibe behind my screen andd thats what make your videos great to watch. greetings from morocco.

Hi, new subscriber from the UK here. Thank you for a lovely video, I really enjoyed seeing the amazing properties. Everything in the US is soo much bigger, the roads, the cars, the buildings, the houses, even the trees! We will be visiting several states the US in 2025 can't wait!
@@He_Loves_Horror Hello, my daughter will be going to university in Vancouver, so 5 days in Canada then travel to Washington, Oregon, Colorado and then the Carolina's.
Thanks very much for posting- brought back some pleasant memories. I used to vacation in the States reularly (sadly health and age have stopped this) and I would do just this type of walk and relish the ambience of a great country!
My whole maternal family lives in raleigh...and ironically i have never once visited them. i live in india. such is the time these days that families arent really families...strange to see for the first time, the city my cousins live in.
This is really beautiful the type of neighborhood I would most want to live in. However, I would never live in any of the Carolinas. I live in Michigan and we have neighborhoods like this. But sooooo beautiful. Thanks for video
That's beautiful! I just wonder where are the sidewalks?? 😅 walking directly on the road looks dangerous Edit: Just reached the part where sidewalks appeared!! it gave me peace hahahaha
Fyi, one reason these neighborhoods don't have a lot of sidewalks is, because there is a lot of legal liability for homeowners with sidewalks, with 'slip and fall' lawsuits. So to eliminate that, they just took off the sidewalks. However, now it is the fashion to put the sidewalks back in again, in newer developments, to increase walkability.
Because during the development of interstate building. Lobbyist influenced American infrastructure through politicians which made more and more roads that depended on driving a car. This was everywhere even in neighborhoods like you see here.
This is a closed residential neighborhood and it doesn't get much traffic. However, nowadays the fashion is now to put sidewalks into these type of neighborhoods.
@@aperson5310 not true at all. It was just a fashion for a while because it gave the neighborhood more of a country feel. Also of these were all custom homes, the bylaws may not have required it. There would be no through traffic, only the people who live in the neighborhood so it would be safe.i grew up in a neighborhood like this in Texas with large lots and no sidewalks. It was very quiet and safe.
19:00 is a dream of mine to build this type of home. And is this nature sound is real or you add it? Because if it's real, that neighbourhood is amazing.
I have a question, I saw neighborhoods like these in some videos, with many trees and beautifuls bigs houses, but are these neighborhoods common in the USA or are they only for rich peoples?
These types of neighborhoods are common and the location has a lot of influence over the price. I specifically focus on locations that create a relaxing vibe, but the country has a vast array of residential areas, some that are swarming with people.
@@RelaxingWalks I thought it was a child but it moves so quickly and fluidly. I was expecting to see it in the window in the room that it ran towards. Very strange mate. Awesome video though, I subscribed.
Greetings. That’s a complex question but here’s a very high level answer. The neighborhood was likely middle-class a few years ago. Due to rising property values, these homes are now worth millions, indicating a transition towards a richer status, though it still retains some middle-class.
