I've been using japanese/korean eyeliners for years on my brows (they all have that thin pen brush like tip way before western cosmetic brands) I use a light brown eyeshadow/brow powder as a base then draw individual hairs with the eyeliner and at the end I use a tinted eyebrow gel... This 3 step technic is just incredible.
@@AylieRose for the eyeliner I've been constantly repurchasing eyeliners from a brand called UZU(japanese brand) because they have amazing variations of browns, ash, red, pink...I do buy a separate one to use on the eyes, they are that good! for the gel I use l'oreal infaillible tinted brow gel, it works great! for brow powders, I pretty much use only eyeshadows now so any good pigmented/easy to blend shadow will do ☺
HI YA AYLIE! I was just as impressed and happy with the MAYBELLINE "BUILD A BROW " pen, as you were... In my opinion, this is the best, easiest to use brow pen, at an affordable price, that I ever used. Thanks for your "how to use " tutorial, itreally helped me, becauseI have very uneven and thin brows myself. Greetings from Berlin XOXO Kay
Great tutorial, thanks for this! Absolutely agree, that getting a product that does what it says, minus the hype, is very rare, but also SO damn good! Will be looking for more videos-any chance you can do something on best Tinted moisturizers-with Spring around the corner, hopefully! love sue xx
Oh great minds! I have been on the hunt for a good tinted moisturiser! I will be keeping an eye for some new ones coming out so we can hopefully find a really good one!
I’m impressed too . Maybe I need to carefully trim my longer brow hairs 🤷♀️cuz I’ll you do a video on how to treat , trim or pluck brows ? That would be great !
I notice that you use the side of that brow pen brush. I use only the tip pointing straight out perpendicular to my face and I get a much thinner line. You seem to tilt the pen a wee bit to one side and therefore getting a thicker line than what I get using the same exact pen. I'm going to return that Maybelline Build-A-Brow product because the gel is of no use to me. I did not like it. I do like the NYX pen better but only because they have black. I use the Espresso color pen from Milani Weekend Brow. Then I go over that with some strokes of the NYX Black. I like the more realistic 2D - 3D effect with the two colors. My natural brows are black but using only a BLACK pen would be too black for my face and brows.
PS:🏵And I just have to let you know, that, from all the vid's I've watched so far, your beauty channel is by far the one I enjoy mostly to watch. Not only do I totally 'l♡ve" your accent, you're such a natural and funny person with a fantastic attitude. I wish, I would've discovered the channel earlier, but from now on I'll be checking by daily. There's one more question I'd have about getting almost similar eyebrows on both sides, may you have a tip for me where and how to place 'little lines that I could set and further on could get a basic brow wich I then start filling up with the "BUILD A BROW-PEN "? It'd be so so nice if you could drop me a line or send me an link were I'd find something like that. Have a wonderful Wednesday morning, I gonna heading to the bathroom now, taking a shower and then my daily routine starts..😊 Even as a man it takes me almost 50 minutes all together (hair excluded LOL 😂❤
@@kaikutra7526 thanks so much, if you look into eyebrow mapping that’s a good place to start and once you get used to the shape you won’t need to map every time. Thanks so much for watching!
How would you widen thick eyebrows.? I had my eyebrows permanently removed by Electrolysis (all of my loose eyebrows below my eyebrows) As it was trending in the 80’s and 90’s. But now that the trend is more fuller, I don’t know to widen them and look natural.
Do you mean widen thin eyebrows? Just build up the shape by adding hair strokes, if you go too far you can wipe away any bits that you don’t need with a wipe
Anna, she clearly said Black Brown. 👍🏼 I have the exact same pen. I liked the pen but I don't like the gel brush. It's of no use to me after trying it out. So I'm returning it. I already have Milani Weekend Brow in Espresso so I use that then I go over the Espresso with a few strokes of the Black from NYX. They're all the same pen tip but different colors. I looked at each of the tips with a magnifying glass and they're exactly the same tips. It's just that not all have the same colors so I have to use different brands for the different colors. I like using two different colors for a more natural look.

Practice makes perfect, or as close as you can get with eyebrows anyway! 😂 I was terrible at eyebrows for the longest time and I still struggle, just found that the more I do them the easier they are to do.
@@AylieRose I tried and it is looking ok I guess... At least my husband did not burst out laughing (as it happened a couple of times before!) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for the tips! ❤️

I'm really impressed with how you do your brows! Great job! I hope I can get the same effect.
Aw thank you! My brows drive me crazy, these type of pens have helped so much though!
Thank you for the review / demo of this affordable Mabeline brow !!👍🏼
Thanks for watching!
I use the NYX pen and just got a new one yesterday but will have to look for this. I’ve never heard of it. Thanks for the review 😊
