I found the best Nepali Aloo Dum in Darjeeling, West Bengal 🇮🇳

When I asked locals about things to do in Lebong, Darjeeling, many said, "There’s nothing there." But that only made me more curious! So, I set out on foot, choosing to hike through the steep and narrow streets of Darjeeling instead of taking a taxi. The journey was tough, but the experiences were unforgettable.
Along the way, I met some amazing travelers from Kerala and had fascinating conversations with a retired army man who now cooks Nepali-style Aloo Dum. His authentic and flavorful Aloo Dum, paired with a warm cup of Darjeeling tea, was simply incredible! This dish is a must-try for anyone visiting Darjeeling, West Bengal.
The highlight of my trek? A breathtaking view of the Kanchenjunga Peak, one of the highest summits in the world. The local people were incredibly kind, guiding me through the hidden paths of Darjeeling towards Lebong.
