First cook at the weekend on the Kamado using this recipe, absolutely lovely, everyone enjoyed it. Thanks for your time in sharing all these resources Tom, it is really appreciated, keep up the great work!
I did this myself today, but with a slightly different recipe. I tried 2 thirds beef mince and 1 third pork mince. I added lardons, cinnamon stick, sun dried tomatoes, plus Newcastle brown ale. Then garlic, tinned tomatoes etc. I used 3 Onhivec chillis which i grew myself and are hot. Absolutely delicious. Will be doing again. The smoke flavour really brings out the chilli. Oh nearly forgot, i added four chunks of dark chocolate at the end and it really makes the whole chilli Devine. Thanks for sharing.
Friend, an exquisite chili is one of my favorite and very spicy dishes that rich meat looks so tasty I'll stay in your kitchen 23 chilis and thank you very much for the recipe
How essential would you say cooking the sauce at the same time is? I've always wanted to do chilli with pulled brisket but leaving a pot of chilli sauce over the heat for 14 hours seems insane. Reckon this would work by just smoking beef brisket with chilli spices then pulling the brisket into a pot of indoor chilli and cooking out?
What ever works for you. Tbe sauce does gain flavour from tbe drippings and the smoke. Could you put it under for a few hours at the beginning and then take off and store and add the brisket latter on. Your way will be fine too.
Looks great Tom have you tried putting a couple of squares of dark chocolate in right at the end makes it nice and glossy and another layer of flavor cheers
Sorry if I missed this in your recipe. You're cooking for more people, with 1kg of mince, but for just the 500g of mince (so one ball) is your seasoning mix in the description for 500g or 1kg? Big fan of your videos and looking forward to trying this next.

No half the amount matey.
Enjoy!
@@BBQLIFE awesome. Thank you!
When you say “just under two fingers in the bottom” I assume that’s reasonable for 150C not a sex game
Whatever floats your boat 🤣🤣🤣
1.5 to 2 fingers in the bottom vent 3/4 to full on the top daisy wheel for 150c
The Chilli looks great Tom. Great idea smoking the meat before adding to the Chilli! Stay Safe 👍🇬🇧
Cheers Steve 🍻
