I LOVED this! I've only seen these units in ads, it's more sophisticated that I thought. Mine don't have the controls inside that yours does. But, still, they couldn't make something like this today if they tried. This unit reeks of quality. Not just he electronics but that gorgeous cabinet. And you played the perfect record to demo for us. It's interesting about these console units, I've always thought they filled the room with sound better than regular stereo set-ups do. The sound doesn't seem to be coming from the unit, it just "fills the room", as if it's coming out of the walls. People now think they know music, and know good sound, are listening to tinny compressed digital crap. Oh, and love your decor too!
I love consoles. They should still make them. My grandparents (I’m 53) had a Yamaha console. They are beautiful pieces of furniture that fill your home with music.
Very sweet memories of that magnificent Magnavox console my big brother had in the basement. I spent many pleasant hours there listening to Dionne Warwick and Jimi Hendrix LP’s. What a world!!! PWG
Love that One Note Samba. Back when a hi-fi was also a nice decorative piece of furniture that sounded great.Zenith, the quality goes in before the name goes on.
Beautiful unit. This is a 1966 model. MN2670W Changes for 1966 included the update to the legs, bigger 15" bass drivers with sealed speaker enclosure. Solid state Tuner/Pre-Amp and bigger 320W amplifer. The record changer received a revised tone arm that included an astatic ceramic cartridge.
I have the exact same console. Unfortunately my record player is not working but I’ve got my Echo Dot hooked up to it. The legs are one of my favourite things in it.
@Mrphatbastard1 Thanks! I always loved the cabinet on this unit and it is such a large piece that I let it dictate the feel for a mid-century styled living room.
Beautiful stereo. I recently bought a 1963 Zenith. The amp has the same layout as yours posted. Mine has the clam style adapter. My turntable does not turn. Online..all steps to remove plate comes easy....but... with the clam style I havent figured out how to remove without damaging anything. Any advise would be appreciated....thank you
Hi Michael. Did you ever figure out how to remove the plate? I have the same model and can't figure it out either, and want to change the belt. Thanks!
@Mrphatbastard1 Volume switch does work, but getting the balance correct is tricky. I want to get the unit checked out and cleaned. I hear it is pricey.
Beautiful console Brett! I would like to get anyone's ideas on using a Bluetooth receiver with my Fisher 500C receiver and which ones would be good and not overly expensive that will be applicable! Also, what input would I use? I am currently utilizing the Aux/Tape input for the CD player and have a cassette in the Tape monitor input!
This is the one my neighbor had. She cracked her ceiling one night when having a party from the powerful sound output provided by this great console.

They could build something like this today, but it would cost about $10,000.

It has that floating cartridge, too.
Аут. Я в очередном шоке. Это же музей в живом состоянии. Все работает да еще в лучшем виде!
Very nice, I just picked up a 1962 zenith.
Simply beautiful!!
Wow!! Beautiful console!!

0:49 Who would of known LED light technology would of been the light technology of the future.
Esses consoles eram os melhores aparelhos de som qui ja foram produzidos! Rio de Janeiro Brasil
I miss the record stacker that was present on the record players from that time.
MS. GORME PASSED AWAY TWO YEARS AGO...ONE OF MY FAVORITE SINGERS
@Mrphatbastard1 Thanks! I always loved the cabinet on this unit and it is such a large piece that I let it dictate the feel for a mid-century styled living room.
@MrDaddyo65 Yes, it does have the clamshell 45 spindle. It is model mn2670. Actually, I think this model is a 1964.
@joshb80 Lucky enough to find it in great working condition!
Too bad they don't make stereo consoles anymore!
Could use about ten times the light so everything could be seen better.

Do you know where to buy one of these of get one repaired
I have this same stereo. Mine needs a lot of fixing up on it. Do you know anyone who could fix this stereo

Not led bulbs, way to early for that.. just small, bright incandescent bulbs
Too bad this unit has the updated tone arm that made this changer so desirable.
no LED's
Incandescent bulbs
You have the same stereo that I have but mine is not working. Did you get yours restored?
that sounds like a magnetic cartridge
You just played the worst music I've ever heard.
