And the second ejection was because Lloyd apparently put his hand up which I guess Randazzo didn't take very kindly. Put that in your report, Tony. And it wasn't just the Mariners broadcasters that were pissed. Tigers broadcast booth was also in agreement with Dave Sims and Mike Blowers (Mariners broadcasters) in that they didn't like the ejection one bit
30:36 I guess it is sometimes perspective and bias....because the Twins' broadcast crew kept saying that shot from CF showed the ball hit the dirt.....I think it shows the exact opposite (and I am no fan of the Royals, so....)

35:30 HOLY CRAP....you know you are in for a sh*tshow of a series when one half of a 4-man crew is made up of Angel Hernandez AND Vic Carapazza???? Man, what did that crew chief and those 2 teams do to deserve that???
Most commentators managers and catchers probably hate the rule that you have to give the runner a lane and can’t block the plate anymore but at least the runners also can’t collide with them
The Napoli ejection at 14:04... it wouldn't surprise me in the least to find out that umps wait until the manager is literally almost at the plate to eject a player with a beef with the respective plate ump. Bucknor: "I'm tossing Napoli, but I wanna wait until Farrell's almost in my face to toss him." 🙄
They have screwed baseball up permanently. This blocking the plate rule and having a crew of empires in NY making major decisions. Doesn't make any sense.
They aren't great but there are several teams who are worse. The Nats announcers especially know so little about the game of baseball and easily blow every team out of the water with homerism. Every time a Nats player gets run it's that he was walking away while in reality he looked back and was barking the whole time.
it's funny how the broadcasters criticize the umpire for not taking yelling and such from the dugout, they need to realize that there only so much a umpire can take and the players and manager just need to move on because arguing never gets anywhere
This comment needs more likes (and the announcers should know that umpires can make some bad decisions, just like us humans, and they should never criticize an umpire, unless mr. Angel is calling balls and strikes.)
It goes both ways though. The players and managers can only take so many bad calls by the ump before they get tired of it. There's nothing wrong with chirping from the dugout. Grow a pair man. Their job is to monitor what's happening on the field, not what's being said in the dugout.
It’s easy for someone to say just take it when they don’t have every aspect of their job analyzed. The umpires constantly give you leeway, but when they finally have enough stop arguing. I don’t care who you are at some point you will want to stop getting critiqued about everything.
The YES announcers are the most incompetent ones. When the Yankees manager is ejected, most of the time they wonder if he did because they’re not paying attention. And YES the runner was outside the baseline on his way to first. He took 2 steps in between the lines then went to the left, clear as day.
He was running on the grass. He had his whole body in foul territory then adjusted his path to being completely in fair territory. Since he was in the grass he is out. He can be hit in the back in foul territory no problem, he is safe. I’m not a big fan of the rule but that’s how it’s interpreted more often than not.
I love your channel, but your putting doubles in of clips and at 45 minutes long, your gonna start losing people no one has time except for a few to sit for a 45 minute video. Double it and your watching a movie.
I like to think the Giants-Sox call was to show how much of homers Chicago broadcasters are. Flowers clearly had his left foot right on the base path in front of the plate before (which is legal) and after receiving (which is illegal) the ball.
MLB Rules: balls and strikes and balks are some of the Umpire judgement calls that cannot be argued by team members. Very simple rule many players and managers don't seem to respect.
Ahhhh the days of real baseball are now gone. I feel bad for this current generation that never will see the game played the right way unless they watch older games
I wish that some of these announcers would get off their duff and go become an umpire for one season. Then we’ll see how much they man up, as color commentator from Mets stated about the umpires. When they have a manager and or players yelling at them

I see the ball hitting the dirt I see the ball change direction into the catchers mitt.
He argues balls and strikes, then he gets ejected for arguing balls and strikes.

That is why they need robo-umps. Get rid of em behind the plate…that way we don’t need to worry about umps feelings getting hurt.

You can clearly see both feet run on the grass. What do they consider out of the path, the pitcher's mound?!?
Why did they call drew out of the baseline? I think he was in the baseline
