They weren't written for the game. All the Rise FM tracks come from a short lived record label called Generation Records. Most of the tracks on it were Slyer under different aliases
You are the man for this thank you only thing I have to say is the female's voice going ha ha haaaaaa is drowned out. The volume on her voice needs to go up abit it's not on par with everything else. Other then that very excellent work remastering one of my favorite songs.

This really brings back all those GTA memories... I'm 49 years old, (turning 50!), and have been playing videogames since I was 13 - and keep doing so! Im 26 and I keep coming back to this song too. I was fortunate too have played the game at such a young age (about 8) but even then, my little ears knew this was something special. I remember parking in some grass by a few trees letting this play out on Rise FM. I really appreciate this upload.
@@notflanders4967 When GTA 3 had its 10 year celebration announcement I dug out my ps2 from the closet and recreated a moment I had which was still very vivid in my mind. Remember that Banshee in Portland? You surely remember that it either tuned into MSX or Rise once you got in. Well this memorable moment I had, the radio turned on at the perfect cue of 3:40 in this video. I was joyriding around the gas pump and then proceeded to climb the steep road up in St. Mark's, the song still cuing perfectly as the first long moan hit as I was reaching the top and could see the sun rising up. At that moment I couldn't resist, so I launched myself off the top of the hill down to the docks. Doing this again 10 years later got me so emotional I paused and rushed to the audio tab just so I could hear RiseFM without background noise, turned out the light dancing in pitch black darkness with the surround system blasting Score loudly, me holding back tears of nostalgia. I'm pretty sure that song struck something in my brain because I noticed I cannot "drive normally" in games ever since. If I got any music playing, it influences everything from the timing of the braking to the acceleration when I can't just fully step on the gas, to the way I handle corners.

It was an embeded soundcloud but a private one. I obtained the private link from the html code and then opened the page on soundcloud. its a very good vinyl rip and pretty well cleaned up, time to invest in some proper reference headphones and/or get your ears checked, best regards (from an audio mastering engineer).
