From an OU fan/alum, this was a great tribute. Mad respect for the Cats, and Snyder.... Every OU fan knows, whenever the schedule comes out, K-State is gonna be a war, no matter where the game is. This vid should have shown the battles from 2000-2001... Even though K-State lost those 3, the 2 regular season meetings in Manhattan and Norman, then the rematch in the 2000 Big 12 title game, they were classic games, every one of em, and to win or lose anyone of those... almost meant nothing.
As a Wildcat alum, having attended 3 out the 5 games highlighted in this, I can say this is an incredible video!! I pray Bill returns the program to greatness... Coach Snyder accomplished more at K- State, and getting the most out of the players he had. What he did without a hundred million dollar budget is amazing beating teams like O.U. He is the GOAT. I think there is a few folks in oaklahoma might agree.
I have watched this (and the other versions) dozens of times and I STILL tear up. My first year at KState was 1989 and the first game I saw us win (in person) was the Texas State last second touchdown. Still my favorite game.
I remember all the other top teams fall that day as a Tennessee fan. Had to be a rough day. I can 100% relate. Our 2001 sec title game against LSU cost us a chance at another title, and it still makes me sick. It's hard to even enjoy highlights from that year.

I still wonder how the program would have changed if we would have won the Big XII Championship game, gone on to the National Championship game and won it. Then in 2003, Roberson got hurt and we lost those 3 in the middle and won when he came back. Two great chances at greatness and we came up short.

Yes K-State is not the best in the all of College Football. We dont have National Championships in our trophy case. But we will be remembered as the team that couldnt beat a high school football team into a team that every one was afraid of with a Hall of Fame coach. We have over come so much and to be where we are is amazing. Other teams start out good and stay good. K-State works to be good and now all that hard work has paid off. So all you haters think about history before you come on here.
Let's keep things in perspective. Look at the physical plant, commitment and the resources available in the State of Kansas to remember what a herculean job it was for Snyder, et al, to accomplished what they have. Compare Missouri as an example, the State has a population of about 6 million(almost triple that of Ks.) and the Tigers are the only major Div. 1 program in the State. What have they done with that tremendous advantage? Not much. We beat them 66-0 in '99, for illus. purposes.
