The child should be raised as their sex at birth until they can make a conscious and informed decision of who they are, Who they want to be. Which is probably around 14 years old to 17 years old I think a kid shouldn't be made to wear certain clothes because of their gender, like if a son wants to wear a random dress he saw because he liked it, then I don't think he should be told he can't wear something because of his gender, or be forced to make a decision on his gender. As soon as a child says they are a girl, they shouldn't be bought clothes like dresses (unless the kid asked for them specifically) Because clothes can be worn by girls or boys. There isn't really gender in clothes. It's just how you want to look, and it's whatever makes you feel happy, comfortable, and confident.
As someone who is genderfluid, it took me *years* to figure this out and I didn't start exploring that until I was a teenager. I was not fucking 4 years old. When I was four I was watching TV and playing with toys. There's no way that when you're 4 you can comprehend and process all that. If I were told things about being trans, genderfluid, non-binary, etc when I was 4 I would be confused and brush it off like nothing. I can't believe people. Smh smh. People need to also stop stereotyping people saying that they're queer based on how they look or act. It's just not right and you don't know for sure if they are or aren't and it can be hurtful to say things about them being queer when you don't know. Even as a queer person I don't fucking do that. Can't believe it.
