Hi Édouard! Why? Is it the small cells patterns or the bodies, bonded in the drapes? 😂

This is sufficiently weird to make me subscribe and to just love the fun. As a working artist and art, social and political agitator, I use me age (75) and thoroughly unearned authority to excuse much of my unruly, foolish and sometimes confrontational behavior. can you tell me about your hat? Something I might like to use as a prop in portraits or adopt myself

Haha! Pleasure to have you here! My hat is a cross between a fez and a Victorian smoking cap. To be honest, I sew it myself and made a mistake in the measurements. Ended up with a ridiculously tall smoking cap that I finally embraced, once bunched up on the head…

Pretty sure the one about Van Gogh eating paint is a popular myth, although there is film footage (on RUclips, even) of Picasso painting. He was indeed not fully clad.

For Van Gogh, I found the info several times, from different sources, so there must be some truth? 😄

When VG passed, it was found he had large amounts of lead in the body due to eating paint regularly (this would have given him plumbism, in part responsible for his poor health, mental and physical). However, another theory going around is that he wanted to poison himself by eating paint and drinking turpentine... I guess we will never know for sure...
