I'm 57 and it's taking me a while to realise that doing RUclips stuff is actually a real job , obviously it is and I'm sure people make good money doing it , it just feels weird that it's a real way of earning a living , it just wasn't even a thing even 20 years ago . People need to adjust to new things and I think that the people who criticise are just pissed off that they didn't think of it first and are just jealous of you doing well . If it works for you and it looks like it does, then well done , it takes a lot of nerve to put yourself out there.
Tried most brands and my vote goes to the Batts brand from Lidl (although I appreciate that you haven’t got a local branch). Then again, I mostly mix it with hard boiled egg and finely chopped onion as a sandwich filler.
I get all my sauces from Aldi with their Bramwells own brand. By the time I've bought salad cream, mayo, tomato and brown sauces, pickle, English and French mustard etc etc, I'll save ten quid minimum (and the rest) 😊
It's amazing the stuff you miss when you move away from home. When I first moved to Holland, I was (for whatever reason) amazed to find they don't sell Heinz Salad Cream. Most likely ignorance my side, and it's not as if I hadn't travelled, but I assumed salad cream was an international thing...and I bloody love a hard boiled egg lathered in salad cream. I found 'slasaus' (translated means 'salad sauce') which I guess is sort of similar, but in essence it's just mayonnaise with a bit of vinegar in it. Thankfully, I've found an expat shop in Den Haag, now a smaller one here in Rotterdam, and they stock it. Might be EUR 5,- for a bottle of Heinz, but certainly worth it. Like with you, Gareth, goes on pretty much everything...mainly hard boiled eggs.
I struggled at first after moving from Heinz to supermarket brands. Now they’re absolutely fine and I’d never pay those huge prices again. Our taste buds get used to familiar flavours. Reminds me of when I went from full fat milk to skimmed. At first I thought it was disgusting but now I can’t even drink full fat as it’s too sweet. Keep up the good videos mate. Cheers.
I was the same when I had to stop using salt in cooking 30 years ago when my husband was diagnosed with dangerously high blood pressure. It didn't take long for the whole family to get accustomed to it. There's always salt on the table if those of us with normal blood pressure levels want it but it hardly ever gets used.
I went to aldi today and bought there tomatoe sauce i cant tell the difference between that and heinz the price difference is crazy its down to your videos i tried it THANK YOU x
I bought the Asda Smartprice the other week ...not bad at all . I probably only buy salad cream once or twice a year at most . Most sauce goes off before it runs out in my house ....so 50p is a nobrainer for me .
Salad cream! Honestly. something we never though of until watching the review and definitely going on this weeks shopping list 👍My better half usually sticks on some vinaigrette to compliment her culinary skills when preparing lettuce, toms and cucumber ( I know, it's not very imaginative and woe me! ). Another first class video to prompt us to experiment a bit more 😁😉 Now, that's one reason why G's videos are 'spot on'
I got back into salad cream after a long hiatus from childhood; mayo was the classy thing apparently. Popped into Marks and Spencer’s for a quick takeaway meal and came across a sliced potato salad. I was stunned it had salad cream as the dressing. Loved it and what a blast from the past. I only have salad cream now. Asda’s own to boot.
Hi Gareth, just started watching your videos and I find them really good. You are a really nice guy amd genuine person. Look forward to looking at your back catalogue, this 11 of July 2023, I know this video a year old, hoping this message gets to you. N . Ireland.
Ooooh love this review- gotta love a bit of salad cream!! I would’ve thought that I’d like any brand as I love it so much but so interesting to see the difference in ingredients and taste! So glad for all your lovely feedback.. shows how appreciated your reviews and channel are😊
Just commented on your Hill Climb video. And must say Mayor salad cream from Heron isn't bad. It doesn't over power the food. Heinz does tend to over power what you put it on. The Heron one is like a flavoured mayonnaise. Nice on chips and M&S Scampi plus the £2.50 saving helps pay for the Scampi lol. £1.00 for 2 x 440g squirt things from Heron and is the 50% less fat version. Which in my case the 50% less is wasted.
I love Heinz salad cream. I think ya have to pick ya battles with food prices, some things are worth cutting back on, some not so much. Really enjoy your videos and your vibe. 😀
Gareth, you deserve a lot of credit for your presentational style, easy going, humorous and to the point. Further to that you never stray from your clear mission to save people their well earned money. Excellent!
Great comparison and like you say its down to personal preference and circumstances/ budget. Personally I think the Heinz is worth the extra for quality/taste. You are also paying for the fancy bottle with "57" embossed on it lol. Keep up the good work pal, love your videos.
Heinz are taking the mickey, as seen in the Tesco backlash. If you have a Bamix, or similar, you can make a better salad cream in seconds just by adding some white vinegar and a bit of English mustard to the normal mayonnaise recipe i.e. egg and oil. The cost should be less than 50p , and all natural ingredients. I was inspired to make my own brown sauce after seeing the price (and cheap ingredients) of HP brown sauce. Again, dead easy, and made with proper natural ingredients. Check out Steve Owens channel - I also added tamarind and dates to my recipe, as I seem to remember reading the ingredients on some Chop sauce when I was a kid and asking what tamarind was. The cost to make came out at less than half the cost of HP, all natural unprocessed ingredients with a much better and deeper flavour. Steve Owens also has a Tomato ketchup recipe which I've yet to try but looks to be even cheaper to make. Have a go it's not at all difficult, and at this time of year(summer) fruit should be coming a bit less expensive.
I didn't watch the vid that you said you got bad comments from. I really enjoy your honest, enjoyable and likable vids. Please keep making these. All the best!
I do love ❤️ Heinz. My childhood favorite with hard boiled eggs in a sarnie. I do think we have to be careful with additives . I like you am a fan of salad cream with chips, fish, cheese it's worth it 👌 😋 Thankyou Garath for this video Lynda x
Top job ....btw am a single stay at home dad now for last two years ..i love doing all the things ive missed with my older kids due to working 12 hours .6 days aweek days ....u enjoy ur time being dad lad ....love the the reviews ...keep em coming lad :)
Yep, I've yet to find a salad cream that matches Heinz....and I've tried a fair few. Ketchup/Brown Sauce alternatives aren't so much of a problem...but salad cream has to be Heinz :D Having said that it is way expensive for what it is.
I've watched a few of your videos today and love your honest and detailed comparisons but I've noticed that you described Niacin and Riboflavin additives as nasties when in fact they are goodies, they're both vitamin B's so a healthy additive, keep up the good work
Firstly Gareth, thank you for your transparency. This is a good review on the salad cream, got the Heinze to be honest. On salad tonight. Keep up the good work.
Hi Gareth,.. We've never met but I wish I was a neighbour, you seem to be a genuinely nice person and very friendly.. Be nice to have a crack over the garden fence lol.. Anyway mate you have myself and the good ladies 100% support.. Brilliant videos great content.. Please keep them coming.. Ya never know maybe one day might see you in barrow as I only live down the road.. Take care and I'll see you on the next one 😊
Hi Gareth you are a man after mine own heart. I like salad cream on cooked vegetables like cabbage, cauliflower, kale, aubergines and of course chips and fried fish. I may have mentioned this before, it's an AGE THING, I also like it on mangoes and papaya when we have them on the side with a savoury dish. I have also said we buy Pure Foods salad cream and mustard , both of which are near to UK versions. Salad cream is about £ 1:50 a kg and mustard costs only a little more. Keep the videos going please, they keep me informed ! Best wishes. Don, Phannee and the boys
Good review love Heinz salad cream with chips adding the Zingy taste and on pizzas aswell but sometimes do not always want to pay the price for Heinz although it is good so an occasionall buy but salad cream needs to have that Zingyness
Eh up Gazza hows tha doin. Great video. Your one of the most genuine vloggers on the platform. Dont let the negative comments get to you. Some times constructive criticism is good. And some people go over board. People have a choice and of they don't like what they see they can go and find another channel. I love watching you. You make me laugh I think you could do comedy.and you are one of a very few who responds to comments. I'm proud to think of you as friend that I could go to the pub with. First 2 rounds are on you cos I can only manage 2 pints. But seriously a lot of the food would feature in my budget if I was back in blighty. I hope you will grow with more subscribers. My only complaint is you never feature lard sandwiches lol.
I've tryed a lot of various salad creams from cheap to expecive and I can eat it with anything, I love it, however salad cream is salad cream to me, just my opinion 👍
It's true what they say: you get what you pay for and if you are prepared to choose a product which costs 50p instead of a similar product costing £3.00, you know that you're going to get a slightly inferior product. I'm not averse to buying own-branded products; at the end of the day, it's a condiment and, although it might contain more vinegar and additives, it does the job it's supposed to do.
Because of a massive fall in demand for salad cream ( mayo replacing it in most peoples shop) rather than drop it altogether Heinz put the price up to make it worthwhile making smaller batches of it. Think this was about 4 years ago now.
Ignore the haters. You have worked hard to be where you are on RUclips. It is pure jealousy that they have to get up in a morning and work a 9-5. You have taken the leap in industry that is not always seen as a ‘proper job’ and now work for yourself, your own hours, as much or as little as you want to. And it’s all for your girls. You should be very proud of where you are and what you have accomplished! F the haters!! ☺️👍
Your vids always put a smile on my face no matter how bad my day is. They also influence my everyday shopping habits as every penny saved is a total blessing at the moment. Thanks so much. It really is appreciated.
Spot on, a catchphrase like “shut that door” from the late Larry Grayson🤣😂 Who cares about your critics. I enjoy your honesty & just being you. Best wishes with the channel.🙌
Just been to sainsbury I watched your video about salad cream, I looked at first the price of there own brand at 90p. Heinz was £3.40. Then I looked at the ingredients. That did it. I paid through the nose maybe but bugger it what are we consuming. It had to be heinz, glad I watched this. Cheers. I will check the ingredients from now on.
Hi Gareth .Another fab video but to be fair we only eat Heinz’s but mayonnaise has to be. Hellmans .we tune in most every evening once home from work . It’s a delight to see happiness on here you share .put the negative behind and love us who gives you thumbs up 👍🏽 every time.take care and see you on your next flog 💙
Thank you great video I am watching from Spain I am from the UK but moved to Spain 20years ago I do miss shopping at Asda still visit the UK about 3 times a year and I visit Asda always lol take care 😀
I live in Spain ,but I love your delivery, your honestly and down to earth opinion, it's bloody fantastic . Because of bexit Heinz is a little bit difficult to get or is expensive,so I've tried to make my own,I think it tastes like smart price , yes something missing ,I bit harsh
A brill review right up my street Gareth. This time the cheaper version didn't come out on top. You know what you like, as do most of us. Heinz Vegan Salad Cream for me. Thanks for this vid.
I didn’t see your hill video. Did someone have a go on your previous video. I’ll knock them out for you. Happy Birthday Mrs Bald Foodie Guy. Thanks for the comparison, we need more of these 😊
All the best from Manchester pal. Ignore any nasty comments. you seem like a decent down to earth bloke, helping all us viewers to save the odd few bob. Carry on the good work and all the best to you and Mrs BFG. 😊
Hi Gareth, another honest comparison ! Heinz, being an import is expensiveand NO big bottles. We buy Pure Foods Salad Cream which is on a par with Heinz and is around £1:20 for a kilo refill bag. Our Aldi container bought in UK in 2018 has been refilled countless times and we use it for stir fry veg and I like it on Chips and fried fish. Keep them coming you are always worth listening to and watching. Don, Thailand. Just as a matter of interest with eggs, however cooked, we usually have Soya or fish sauce ( both are salty base ).
Thanks for this foodie taste ,I personally thought the basic Asda was awful,so I do treat myself wth the Heinz, but there basic ketchup I find ok ,look forward to your next tasty video 😋
I love your videos, ignore the people who give bad comments, they just don’t realise that they can choose what channels to watch. Keep doing what your doing 👍🏼👍🏼
Another great video Gareth . I have been playing catch up as I have been on holiday . My absolute favourite salad cream is Bramwells from Aldi much cheaper than Heinz and I prefer it .
Hi Gareth. Thanks for another brill review. Don't worry about idiots. Do what you do mate. You make entertaining videos about food that cheer people up, including myself. I can't understand the problem. We aren't on this earth for long. One love. Be kind people. Keep up the spot on work. Best wishes from Scotland.
Gareth don’t be down heartened by the sad keyboard warriors , I congratulate you on doing a fantastic job 👍🏻👍🏻 Just be yourself as you do ,keep making us laugh 😂 Some people are just sad and have to put people down because they can and no other reason . Great video as usual , Hienz is a far superior salad cream and definitely my choice Thanks again matey until the next time 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
There’s 2 branded items I have to have Yorkshire tea and heinz salad cream none of the others are the same but on other products I definitely buy the cheap ones
Aldi salad cream is great, I have seen the processes that Heinz uses for their condiments particularly their tomato sauce, using rotten tomatoes everything goes into the mix, they rely on the high processing temperatures they use in cooking the product to kill off harmful bacteria, that is why I do not buy Heinz products anymore the difference is marginal, £3.00 for salad cream is outrageous and just blatant profiteering. great video. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Cheers. Andy. Scotland.
Mate, no matter where you go or what you do, you will find sad individuals who try to put you down. There are many of us who are for you. Far far more than the trolls. There's a reason you have so many followers. Keep on doing what you do.
So the reason you are loved so much by your foodies is the simple down to earth videos ,your honesty and excellent no bull reviews. Change this and you lose the personal touch you also go above and beyond in responding to comments .Remember you are military trained don’t let the b*** grind you down and keep that chin up !!! My God you live in in beautiful part of the country please continue to take us out on Gazzer at Large .
Ey up gaz, keep doing what your doing I suffer from refractory coeliac disease so I can’t eat most things you review but you are a real down to earth guy with a family you love and I salute you 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️
Great to see you made it back from the hill climb video lol Heinz is the best salad cream. Spot on with the zingy comment and its nice and tangy. I would change some things but not salad cream.
I love Heinz salad cream and I always get it when it's on offer. When it's not I get Tesco's own brand. Have you tried Ranch dressing Gareth? Try that with chips. *chefs kiss 👌
Great video Gaz. I’m a big fan of Heinz’s Salad Cream and agree nothing come close to Heinz’s. For a real taste sensation try over the top of some boiled potatoes.. it’s a game changer i kid you not…
Hi Gareth I must say I don't like any salad cream what so ever. But I do like Mayonsise but no Heinz hate it. I always buy the Hellmans top notch. We are funny lol.. keep up great vlogs your doing a great job .
Love your comparisons and LOVE salad cream. I gave up on Heinz a long time ago always use Asda original at about 90p. I cannot tell the difference. Also look at calories. Smart price is loads less than Heinz. That is because of the lack of rapeseed oil which is expensive ingredient.
Love your stuff thank you. Only issue I have is vegetable oils sunflower rapeseed in most prepared foods. They are not good for anyone. Olive oil advocado oil coconut oil and butter and lard are good.
I prefer mayonnaise so I hope you do a mayonnaise review. I like lidl's mayonnaise. People will buy what they can afford and 50p V £3 that's 6 bottles of cheap stuff V 1 bottle of Heinz I can see people buying the cheap version even if they prefer the Heinz if they have to find a way to cut their weekly food bill.
Happy birthday Geraldine 🍻🌸🌼 l know Heinz is more expensive BUT l love Heinz products 🤷♂️the other cheaper versions use junk to fill hence a lot cheaper products 🤷
Yeh,your right Gaz Heinz is the best in my opinion shame about the price, when I was younger I used to have a big bowl of proper mashed potatoes with plenty of salad cream on ,loved it !😊👍
Gareth, another good video. I agree - £3 is bonkers. I used to buy Heinz but switch to Aldi’s own, bramsells. Be interested to see what you think of that if you get chance. I find it quite zingy. Thanks for posting.
"FANTASTIC"!! Thank you so much for doing what you do. These BIG COMPANIES need SHAMING for the price they charge for our food. Greed is taking over here in a HUGE way. The more we the public call them out the better. I for one have been BOYCOTTING these large named Companies and Brands for some time now. So what if a box is "YELLOW",we are not eating the box. Alot of snobbery thinking they have the best. Wake up guys and taste the same food, but packaged different. 💯👍👍👏 Thank you SIR.
I'm like you Gareth,i adore salad cream with almost everything.Never got the appeal of mayo.Three quid is a lot but worth it for the best.Great video again, keep up the good work Gareth.
Hi Gareth, thanks for your interesting and amusing videos. We’re trying to work out your accent - somewhere between Stoke and Manchester perhaps? If cheaper brands of salad cream are not zingy enough for you just squeeze them into a jar, add some apple cider vinegar to taste and mix in well. Instant zing! Also, for coleslaw I’ve found the best dressing is two thirds mayonnaise to one third salad cream and it doesn’t matter about the brand. Again, you can add vinegar for zing. BTW when abroad don’t assume salad cream will be anything like we get in UK. The big manufacturers produce different recipes for different markets. Even Heinz in Thailand is disgusting - very gloopy and very sweet. From a Granny in Aberdeenshire.
Another great video Gareth. Keep entertaining us and ignore the negativity from those people who are most likely just jealous of you. Top man.
cheers Howard.
Keyboard warriors with no life mate !!!! Probably teens who think they’re being tuff 💪🏼😂😂
Well said 👍
@@BaldFoodieGuy Please make a video about toilet paper next...
Forget about the trolls, Gareth and just carry on with what you're doing 💞🍞🌶️🌽🍍☕

I'm a Bramwells fan too
Always buy my sauces from Aldi nothing wrong with them at all

Aldi are good
Aldi is a really good substitute for Heinz , well priced and tastes almost the same 👍🏻
£3 for salad cream, has the world gone mad! I buy Sainsburys own, good enough for me. Keep up the great videos.
Not tried the Asda but have had the Aldi version. This is one time I'm with Heinz! Stock up when It's on offer!

I couldn’t have put it better myself Lisa. This channel is a gem, keep those videos coming 😘👌
I’m not a big salad cream fan but if I was having visitors who do like it I would push the boat out & buy the Heinz
Another good video 👍🏻

I’m going to make a prediction before I watch. The Heinz wins hands down, it’s manna from heaven. Never could accept any alternative however cheap.

Cheers Howard
This is a great channel. Saves us a lot of money and certainly raises my spirits. Don't let any negativity get you down. There's always somebody. 🙄
I appreciate that
Hi Gareth .Another fab video but to be fair we only eat Heinz’s but mayonnaise has to be. Hellmans .we tune in most every evening once home from work . It’s a delight to see happiness on here you share .put the negative behind and love us who gives you thumbs up 👍🏽 every time.take care and see you on your next flog 💙
Thank you xx
I hate salad cream but still watching because of the massive price difference and you're spot on!
I don't like salad cream but I like watching your channel. I think you are absolutely spot on.
Thank you great video I am watching from Spain I am from the UK but moved to Spain 20years ago I do miss shopping at Asda still visit the UK about 3 times a year and I visit Asda always lol take care 😀
Cheers Kathy, you're welcome 😊👍👍
I hate the expense of Heinz salad cream, but it's a must-have favorite for me like you. No swap for me on this occasion.
I live in Spain ,but I love your delivery, your honestly and down to earth opinion, it's bloody fantastic . Because of bexit Heinz is a little bit difficult to get or is expensive,so I've tried to make my own,I think it tastes like smart price , yes something missing ,I bit harsh
Cheers thank you 👍👍
You have been doing a great job. Don't let the haters get to yah mate they are just jealous!
cheers
Ignore the negative comments Gareth. Keep doing what you do. You are doing a brilliant job.
I appreciate that!
Happy birthday to your sister in law ❤️
A brill review right up my street Gareth. This time the cheaper version didn't come out on top. You know what you like, as do most of us.
Heinz Vegan Salad Cream for me. Thanks for this vid.
I didn’t see your hill video. Did someone have a go on your previous video. I’ll knock them out for you. Happy Birthday Mrs Bald Foodie Guy. Thanks for the comparison, we need more of these 😊
I am with you on the salad cream instead of Tartar sauce, didn’t realise anyone else in the world did that. Love the vids.
thanks 😊
Me too 👍🏻
" Heinz should be a pound" that's a good way to do a comparison, well done Gareth!
All the best from Manchester pal. Ignore any nasty comments. you seem like a decent down to earth bloke, helping all us viewers to save the odd few bob. Carry on the good work and all the best to you and Mrs BFG. 😊
thanks Paul.
Just as a matter of interest with eggs, however cooked, we usually have Soya or fish sauce ( both are salty base ).
you're welcome thanks Don.
Thank you, I will
Another great video Gareth . I have been playing catch up as I have been on holiday . My absolute favourite salad cream is Bramwells from Aldi much cheaper than Heinz and I prefer it .
Never thought of putting salad cream on chips but looking at the comments you are not the only one. I must give it a try.
haha go for it
Another fabulous comparison Gareth. Thank you! I’m not a fan of salad cream 🤣. Nonetheless a Very Happy Birthday to Geraldine ❤️🥳
Thanks so much!
Thanks Gareth, you are one of this world's down to earth good guys.
Cheers Rick
Would be interested to know if you will do a mayonnaise one. Hellmans is the only one for me
Hi Gareth. Thanks for another brill review. Don't worry about idiots. Do what you do mate. You make entertaining videos about food that cheer people up, including myself. I can't understand the problem. We aren't on this earth for long. One love. Be kind people. Keep up the spot on work. Best wishes from Scotland.
Thanks 👍
It depends on how much money you have don't worry about comments if they don't like it don'tWatchet carry on the good work
Gareth don’t be down heartened by the sad keyboard warriors , I congratulate you on doing a fantastic job 👍🏻👍🏻
Just be yourself as you do ,keep making us laugh 😂
Some people are just sad and have to put people down because they can and no other reason .
Great video as usual , Hienz is a far superior salad cream and definitely my choice
Thanks again matey until the next time 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
cheers Steve thanks pal.
There’s 2 branded items I have to have Yorkshire tea and heinz salad cream none of the others are the same but on other products I definitely buy the cheap ones
like Jenny's' post on this as in NOTHING compares to the HEINZ it's been there for years as a boy growing up always had this
Aldi salad cream is great, I have seen the processes that Heinz uses for their condiments particularly their tomato sauce, using rotten tomatoes everything goes into the mix, they rely on the high processing temperatures they use in cooking the product to kill off harmful bacteria, that is why I do not buy Heinz products anymore the difference is marginal, £3.00 for salad cream is outrageous and just blatant profiteering. great video. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Cheers. Andy. Scotland.
cheers Andy, yes its expensive isnt it.
Smart price better in sandwiches but heinze is the best I'm with you with that Gareth!! 💯
Mate, no matter where you go or what you do, you will find sad individuals who try to put you down. There are many of us who are for you. Far far more than the trolls. There's a reason you have so many followers. Keep on doing what you do.
cheers pal, will do.
My God you live in in beautiful part of the country please continue to take us out on Gazzer at Large .
thanks very much great comment this I appreciate it thanks 😊
Ey up gaz, keep doing what your doing I suffer from refractory coeliac disease so I can’t eat most things you review but you are a real down to earth guy with a family you love and I salute you 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️
cheers pal sorry to hear that. Very kind of you.
Love your comparison videos mate . Keep up the good work . 👏
Thanks! 👍
Ignore the negative comments, you are the most genuine, unpretentious person, that's what they hate! 🤣🤣🤣
Cheers Paul
I love salad cream and always buy Heinz, so this shall be interesting!! Kx
Hope you enjoy
Keep going . Great reviews, and your opening people’s eyes
I appreciate that!
Love your comparisons and LOVE salad cream. I gave up on Heinz a long time ago always use Asda original at about 90p. I cannot tell the difference. Also look at calories. Smart price is loads less than Heinz. That is because of the lack of rapeseed oil which is expensive ingredient.
thanks 😊
Love your stuff thank you. Only issue I have is vegetable oils sunflower rapeseed in most prepared foods. They are not good for anyone. Olive oil advocado oil coconut oil and butter and lard are good.
I prefer mayonnaise so I hope you do a mayonnaise review. I like lidl's mayonnaise. People will buy what they can afford and 50p V £3 that's 6 bottles of cheap stuff V 1 bottle of Heinz I can see people buying the cheap version even if they prefer the Heinz if they have to find a way to cut their weekly food bill.
yes its coming dont have a lidl unfortunately
Your vlog brought to mind the awful stuff served at infant school dinners 65 years ago
Happy birthday Geraldine 🍻🌸🌼 l know Heinz is more expensive BUT l love Heinz products 🤷♂️the other cheaper versions use junk to fill hence a lot cheaper products 🤷
I like homemade salad cream. Though I have used both and ok.
Yeah i got the Sainsbury’s salad cream that taste like the Heinz Salad cream and try it 😀
That is a great comparison, if asda is worth 50p then heinz is worth a 1£. Exactly right!
Yeh,your right Gaz Heinz is the best in my opinion shame about the price, when I was younger I used to have a big bowl of proper mashed potatoes with plenty of salad cream on ,loved it !😊👍
cheers Ash thanks pal
@@BaldFoodieGuy 😉👍
Hi been watching your video a while now love them keep them coming thank you .
Gareth, another good video. I agree - £3 is bonkers. I used to buy Heinz but switch to Aldi’s own, bramsells. Be interested to see what you think of that if you get chance. I find it quite zingy. Thanks for posting.
cheers Ralph
"FANTASTIC"!! Thank you so much for doing what you do. These BIG COMPANIES need SHAMING for the price they charge for our food. Greed is taking over here in a HUGE way. The more we the public call them out the better. I for one have been BOYCOTTING these large named Companies and Brands for some time now. So what if a box is "YELLOW",we are not eating the box. Alot of snobbery thinking they have the best. Wake up guys and taste the same food, but packaged different. 💯👍👍👏 Thank you SIR.
Thanks
I'm like you Gareth,i adore salad cream with almost everything.Never got the appeal of mayo.Three quid is a lot but worth it for the best.Great video again, keep up the good work Gareth.
cheers Patrick
I always make sure to knock on the fridge before opening
Just in case there is a salad dressing ..good video Gareth
Ilove Heinz salad cream .on the lettuce Inthe summer !just brilliant ..
From a Granny in Aberdeenshire.
thanks im in Cumbria the Lake District, all the bestto you Granny.
I’m still a salad cream fan 👍🏻 Heinz is my go to , but if I’m having a skint month Aldi is well worth the money and tastes nice .
