FOr stakeholder Priotity Clash I would answer this as
The Leadership Team, wanted to prioritise new features and enhancements that would address specific customer requests and potentially close important deals. On the other hand, the development team highlighted the need for technical debt reduction and infrastructure improvements to ensure long-term scalability and maintainability.
Understanding Perspectives: I will schedule a separate meetings with both stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their perspectives and underlying motivations. I actively listened to their concerns, goals, and the reasoning behind their priorities.
Gathering Additional Insights: I will gather more information by conducting user research, analysing customer feedback, and engaging in discussions with end-users. This helped me gain a comprehensive understanding of the impact and value of the proposed new features as well as the technical debt reduction.
Collaboration Workshop: I will organise a collaborative workshop involving representatives from the sales team, development team, and other relevant stakeholders. During the workshop, I facilitated an open and constructive discussion to create a shared understanding of the challenges and opportunities.
Negotiation and Trade-offs: With the prioritisation exercise results in hand, I facilitated a negotiation process to find common ground and make trade-offs. I encouraged stakeholders to consider the long-term benefits of addressing technical debt while also addressing critical customer needs to balance short-term and long-term goals.
Transparent Communication: Throughout the process, I maintained transparent and frequent communication with stakeholders.
