i was hard on chelsea in this initial reaction video but now i do feel bad that chelsea is feeling uncomfy about his close relationship with his (girl)friends and he's completely dismissing them. it doesn't help that she's drunk and coming at him in an accusatory way so hopefully they'll see a therapist together or something if they choose to stay together
No no no, don't feel badly. Your initial reactions/impressions are still on point. Chelsea has troubles and she needs to learn how to differentiate and regulate her ish. We all have troubles and ish, and trying to control our partners' relationships with friends is not on.
At this point, I think they definitely should break up. You can tell Jimmy doesn’t really love Chelsea, everything he did seems so forced and deep down Chelsea knows it and hence the constant insecurity

I personally can't tell if she's doing it intentionally or out of insecurity and fear that he's going to cheat on her. Alcohol was also clearly a factor in her thought process. Regardless of the reason, she definitely needs to get professional help and should not be on reality TV.

Well did you forget the way Jimmy acted after the reveal. It was pretty clear he wasn't into her. In one of their flights he even said he wanted a break from intimacy too.

He’s an asshole, huge asshole. i just don’t like how she went about weaponizing his trust in her by revealing something he shared in private and asked not to bring up in front of cameras. She was obviously okay with this to some extent, and she has every right to have changing feelings about the situation, but because all of this came out after he tried to defend himself going out that night/in the future, it seemed like since she couldn’t control him, she was going to try and control what viewers thought about him. The show is heavily edited so all of this could be misinterpreted, but she showcased many manipulative and emotionally abusive actions. it was hard to watch at some points

10000% !!!! She reminds me of how I used to get when drunk. I turned into a needy paranoid psycho. And yes, Chelsea is bad sober too, but not AS bad. The thing is, I think Chelsea was drinking a LOT while filming this show; and I know from experience, when you drink that much and have a problem w alcohol, it affects your sober personality, too. I haven’t drank in almost a decade, and haven’t had one “psychotic” episode in that decade. I also feel like LIB needs to do this show sober. I don’t think they should be “dating” multiple ppl and getting to know each other for the first time in person, while being continuously served/provided with alcohol.

I think if that’s a deal breaker for him then he’s not really in for a serious relationship and it is fair for her as his partner to voice that it makes her uncomfortable. With that said, the way she did it was wrong, it was so erratic, she was drunk and was just throwing random allegations and just not realizing how overbearing she was being. I feel like maybe alcohol makes her behave that way and hightens her insecurities, some people believe she has anxious attachment which makes sense as well.
I think her problems were at such level that they would take the spotlight but definitely Jimmy is problematic as you said.

That’s what I literally thinking about. Chaos is the only way she feels love. She even said later on after the argument is the closest she felt with him.
Her behavior is very representative of someone who has been in abusive relationships in the past. She needed therapy before going on this experience. She has put out a statement that she seeked therapy after filming.
I agree, she definitely self sabotages. I don't necessarily think it's because she's been in abusive relationships, it may be a result of not having any self esteem. The way she controls and manipulates makes her the abuser.

In my early adult relationships, I was always seeking out chaos or conflict as a result. However, I recognized this unhealthy behavior and went to therapy. It's possible she had a similar situation. She looks triggered in these videos and probably only means half of what she is saying, but the bottom line is that she wants him to take a step back. She doesn't say cut them off she is saying cut down. That's my take anyway. Both her and Jess seem to agree that Jimmy is a partner and again he doesn't seem to deny this and even seems to have omission guilt in Interviews and I would say the panicked look on his face during the entire reunion.

“Things are going to be hard sometimes” coming from a gal who literally created unnecessary hardness… that phrase doesn’t apply to purposeful drama. It applies to life, and learning how to communicate cohesively with one another.
Bingo. There are hard moments in long term relationships. Life hands them out whether it’s unexpected job loss, caring for elderly parents, death of family members, etc. Learning how to navigate the lows without lashing out and going for the jugular because YOU are having issues is part of becoming a functional adult in a healthy relationship.
Chelsea is not in a healthy place . She is going to self sabotage until she gets some quality therapy and gains self awareness as well as methods for working through her issues. Unfortunately she isn’t only hurting herself.

I had a boyfriend in the past who had friends I didn't like and I gave him a choice, he straight up told me, "I'm not gonna get rid of my friends for you, they were here 1st", and honestly I respected it. It's not fair for us to dictate and choose who our partners are friends with. You can stay in the relationship or leave and find another spouse who has friendships that don't affect you. We have a choice. A partner going out from time to time, is not a big deal. She's a flight attendant who will spend most of the time traveling but expects her spouse to sit in the house if they're not with her. She's insufferable.
If a person cheats on you then they were never going to be faithful in the first place. And to try and control that by removing all possible options for them to cheat wont work, because they could just go on tinder or a bar or smt. Cheaters will ALWAYS find a way to cheat. You need to be able to trust that they wont cheat and be comfortable with that.
I would NEVER give up the friends who been there for me for years for a relationship. What I’m getting rid of is the person making the ultimatum. They are showing you just how insecure and controlling they are.

Chelsea is so deep in her insecurity and her delulu that she thinks that it’s normal and rational. She’s convinced herself this is how normal relationships work because of her complex and relationship baggage. I don’t think it’s malicious or she’s aware of how she’s manipulating the situation. She just needs a lot of therapy before she gets into something this serious, unless it’s someone who really understands all of that.

Definitely. She's probably acted like this every relationship, and it's worked for her until it didn't. I imagine the men get fed up and start fighting back, and instead of self-examination as to why they're tired of her, she blames outside factors, and the cycle continues. I’m just tired of seeing this “if this was a guy in that position…” stuff on videos that are directly calling out the females that are being nuts/controlling/abusive/whatever. In case anyone is confused, this classic abusive behavior. Separating someone from friends and a support system, saying they made you act a certain way (I wouldn’t do it X if you hadn’t done Y), following when someone seeks distance and trapping them in an enclosed space…. These are all classic examples of a dive behavior and if you are experiencing them you either need to get away, or, if unwilling to leave yet, get counseling. A trained professional can help you process what you are feeling, determine the level of danger you are in, and help make an exit plan if necessary. I am not saying Chelsie is an abuser, but I can say the behavior is abusive. Again, no one deserves to be belittled, isolated, or blamed for another’s behavior. Ultimately, we are all responsible for how we respond, we have the right to be upset but not to use that upset as an excuse to abuse.

Im a chime in here! When my husband and I first met, he had 2 close girlfriends that he had sexual relationships with previously. Im decently confident in my person (but definitely self conscious in some ways!) and we had a conversation about setting boundaries and what I was comfortable with. I took the time to meet one of them - we are VERY different people but she is lovely, means well and is respectful of any boundaries that was set - she was one of our signatures at our wedding and has 2 beautiful girls with her now husband who we adore. She is also very attractive (and was a dominatrix back in the day) so ha! They have a beautiful friendship though, and it's lovely to witness. The other friend - due to her not respecting boundaries was removed from his life over time. I will also say that I have a friend in my life as well (also attractive)- who I also had an intimate relationship with and my husband was ok with this too. This is not to say my husband and I have always agreed, but our conversations are respectful/kind and we trust and love each other so much. We communicate continually and are creating a life together, but are still our own separate humans, with our friends, creative endeavours and careers. I hope Chelsea can find the healing she needs in her own life as there is definitely trauma- and if this is truly an issue for her, then I think the respectful thing to do would be to separate as nobody deserves to be treated in the way that she is treating Jimmy. We shall see....Maybe in the end they set the boundaries that is needed and there is more kindness on her part. Also, obsessed with your videos and reactions always send me (LOL). I can relate with Chelsea. It is normal to feel insecure and have those thoughts, but that is something you have to work alone. She has to believe in him until she has real reasons and proofs he is being unloyal. The best thing to avoid those stressing and jelousy thing is being focus on yourself, what he does is out of your control, focus on the things that you can control like growing your skills. Literally no man is worth to be stressing like this. And also sometimes you chase him away because of the stories you made in your head. Just live your life and place your peace of mind and well being at the top
