Nice Project 1st Gen Ram was my first experience with diesels that we used for electrical contracting with a Huge all steel Service body and Topper with rear doors. It was hard not to fall asleep when riding shotgun. It’s sound drowned out everything, and was very comforting. I love those old Cummins but if it were me I believe I would have a International DT360. Love your tractor as is though.

I only just found this series, but it's absolutely amazing to see this completed project. It never even occurred to me to swap a cummins into one of these, even though my grandfather owns three of these types of tractors. I look forward to seeing it running and moving!

Hey great job sounds and looks awesome 👌 I'd like to do the same to an 806. I have not acquired it yet but you make this look entirely possible. So thanks for the in depth videos

Great job! Enjoyed watching all your hard work! You did great with the Cummins Power conversion and love the badge on the hood as well as your buddies paint work on the sheet metal! Well done, you can definitely be proud!

Can’t beat a Cummins, we have 8 Cummins powered tractors & a bunch of older w/IHs w/360 & 407 & 436’s; they all will be running long after I’m gone

I took the time to watch all your videos and I do like this conversion. I would have probably tried to get a costume made radiator(or radiator upper and lower tank) to be in the right hose size for the Cummins engine. But at the end of the day it dose not make that much of a difference. The machine runs and performs great and not here to judge someone's work.

Great looking tractor. How much HP does it have? What do you plan on doing with it on your farm? Wonderful looking shop.

Nice job on the tractor! I just did a similar one myself and I’m looking for a tachometer drive where did you find yours?

Leaman Tractor Parts in PA. Give them a call and talk to Ed he will hook you up. Had to use a 1066 tach drive cable because I needed a little more length.

Does the 706 make for the best swap candidate? Vs a different model like 806/756/666? No one wants the gas version so that makes sense… is 706 the largest tractor IH made in a gasser?

No I do know they made an 806 gasser.
