    Exactly what I needed. I asked for help in a businness that develops film, the lady was unknowing on how to do it. So funny people working the industry have no idea what they are doing. And yet you have such simple way of explaining it, thank you.

    Just got one in almost mint condition at a thrift shop! This is my first film camera. How many blank shots do you usually take to advance to the first shot? Like how many blanks do rolls of film provide? I’m just worried of wasting too much film

      Take 2 with the film door open , close it and take 3 more and you’re good to go.

    Hi Paul! Thanks for the video, can you answer me a question about it pls? Sometimes when I rotate the film by advancing the thumbwheel it gets in the middle of numbers, for example, it stops between the 1 and 2 but not exactly in the numbers and I have to shot so I can rotate again till it stops on the number exactly and then I can shot again. Is my frame counter broken? Or I just have to shot some "blanks" between one picture and another till the film takes a right position again? beacuse when I revealed the film is seems that some of those "between" pictures just didn't wore really shoted, althoug I was able to shot the button after advancing the thumbwheel with it stoping in the middle of numbers

    Hi buddy,
    Thanks for the video.
    I'm brand new to photography and my buddy game me his trip. I loaded it up and finished a roll .
    I have now unloaded the roll correctly but my release button on the bottom is still pressed down. Does it only de press once I put new film roll in or is the button damaged.
    I don't want to buy a new roll and load it to only find that my poor camera has been broken :(
    Thanks so much for the video! :)

      The camera is fine. Just wind on to take a blank frame and it will pop out again.

    Hi Paul! I've got an olympus trip but it stops winding after like 14 shots - I've done a test roll and opened it up when it starts jamming and it looks like the film isn't tightly winding. Any idea how to fix this? I've loaded it as you've said!

    • @buzzer1967
      @buzzer1967  3 года назад

      It would need opening up and checking. There’s a small plastic cog wheel which sometimes splits and jams needing replacement.

    Hello! I got one of these cameras for Christmas, I put the film in, started shooting, and after about 4 pictures the button I press to take the photos has stopped working, it seems stuck and doesn’t go all the way down, the winder isn’t moving too, any suggestions?

      Is the red flag popping up when you try to take a picture? If so it’s too dark and won’t let you a picture.

    After i have finished up my roll of film, and by that i mean that i have taken the 36 or 24 photos and the roll now has no more exposures left, and taken the roll out of the camera how should i store the roll until i take it to get developed? And how long can i wait until i get it developed without damaging the film?

    • @buzzer1967
      @buzzer1967  5 лет назад

      You can store it for ages, keep it cool. You won't damage it by storing it but get it developed and see your results!

    • @buzzer1967
      @buzzer1967  4 года назад +1

      If you open the back of the camera without winding the film back you will "fog" the film, meaning expose it to light. Rewind it fully then remove.
