Appreciate the comments and discussions that have happened! More to come! 🤗😎
What motivation do you have to not give up for getting my degree in chemistry.
her skills are the most unbalnced of all avatars, shes the best in water and earth, she is the most intresting avatar with still a lot of untapped power
Show was great, but Korra's power scale and durability were very inconsistent.
How so?
5:41 that looks more like waterbending
Korra doesn't use a waterskin so it was probably air and just an animation error
Always nice to get a new vid
Thanks! Plodding along with these videos lol. Have the original (galaxy pulling) superman coming soon. But heck I'll do everyone sooner or later 😎
I'm not sure that bending power is equal to physical power
Hello
Hello!
Many problems with the show aside, you've just made me realize yet another major one. How does Korra actually get stronger from the Avatar state at any time post season 2? If the whole point of the Avatar state is gaining strength and experience from previous Avatar lives and there is no more access to previous Avatars, she really shouldn't be that much more powerful but they treat it as though she still has full access
Edit:
To the geniuses making the point that she has access to Raava. Okay, and? Korra would still be weak by Avatar standards. Let's say we accept one of the most bs retcons in media for this argument. That still just means that every Avatar prior to Korra would not only have Raava, and don't deny this because the past lives were literally the ones that said to find her, but also the experience and strength of all the Avatars prior. So 4 of the 6 previous Avatars we know of would likely be better than Korra off the get go, and I highly doubt it would just be them. For refernce, the four would be Aang, Roku, Kyoshi and Yangchen.
Sidenote: How did Korra learn metalbending and not Aang when the prerequisite skill is Seismic Sense. That calls into question all non Beifong (and even that's a stretch because all of them learning it is a stretch) metal benders in general but as far as I can recall, Korra never once uses it. Yes, this also applies to firebenders and lightning being a blue collar job cause ain't no way I believe Iroh(as goated as he is) managed to teach that many people and that many people were able to master it. This show is so dumb, I swear
It's not like she's still connected to Raava, right? 🤡
raava also just gives her a boost... in fact, raava takes over a part of thier conceionsness
For one, I'm pretty sure that the avatar state is an amalgamation of all the skills and abilities of the previous avatars, not sheer power itself. It's ability stacking that can be translated as strong techniques however Korra has prime Raava who I'd assume holds more raw power.
@@Jacknobox100 I can see your point but Raava should be weaker given the whole rejoining thing. Not saying Korra shouldn't be stronger than other regular benders but I don't think they fully realized it either. A lot of the show has Korra go into the Avatar state just to be on par with other people, their skill and power aside. Korra was training from childhood and comes off as less powerful than the 12 year old. Keep in mind the only real L Aang had with the Avatar state was because he fought a sensible person(Azula) that attacked him while he was powering up. Everyone else, even Ozai, whose probably ranked top 2 or 3 in sheer power through ATLA, lost badly, yet Korra manages to be slightly better, if at all better than her foes until it's finale time
@@tajaniscott In terms of Korra being on par when she goes into the avatar State and not full-on just destroying people like Aang, I can agree but we must realize they both had specific situations. In book 1 Korra couldn't enter the avatar State until the end. In book 2 she entered in and battled the dark spirit, then entered it again toward the end to fight Unavatuu who keep in mind had a stronger version of Vaatu and a master waterbender that being Unalaq she legit fought the dark avatar. In book 3 she fought Zaheer but was poisoned which was slowly killing her body but she still tried to fight and was keeping up with Zaheer almost catching him when she froze his foot but the poison fought harder knocking her down. In book 4 she had lost the ability to walk, lost considerable weight and muscle mass, and had extreme PTSD which translated into depression as well as still having poison in her body. She had Kuvira during their fight when she entered the avatar State but the PTSD kicked in allowing Kuvira to get the upper hand. Korra’s strongest avatar State feat actually is when she energy-bends the spirit beam protecting her and Kuvira.
In short, Aangs avatar State does seem to be more powerful only because his villains are so weak when compared to an avatar.
Aang and Korras main villains:
Zhao
Unfortunately Korra is the victim of bad writing, so she's basically immortal
Care to elaborate?
@@vetarlittorf1807 I don’t think I can explain in a youtube comment but I’ll do my best. The writers focused to hard on the thematic aspects of Korra without focusing on continuity/good writing. If you don’t think about it too hard Korra is amazing but there’s a lot of irredeemable plot holes that ruin the tension/logic of the show at least for me.
@@tygrosky8587 RUclips doesn't stop you from giving a better explanation than that. You just gave a blanket statement.
@@vetarlittorf1807 I’m not going to write an essay for a RUclips comment. That’s what I meant.
