      Victor Vine I still use ozone 5 so I'm not really sure but the preview mode doesn't render since it's only the preview mode
      I don't know if you have to change something in the ozone settings but multiplier has a video specifically about this feature. If that doesn't do it try the manual

      The whole thing was super helpful for me! Right now I'm rewatching to pick up on any tips I missed. I would say it'd be awesome for you do more of these with Austin, but hey quality over quantity right? Still would be awesome though

    Alright, I'm going to go on a whim here and suggest the one and only Seven Lions. He uses FL, so I'm not quite sure how that would work out given that this series is mostly focused on Ableton, but that guy has so much knowledge it's unreal. I've seen the one studio session video that he did a few years back, and I can't help but wonder what else he is willing to show. From the atmospheric sound design, to the massive leads and supersaws, that guy produces the type of music I've been trying to make for years. Hopefully it is possible!

    Great job on the editing Multiplier, it's nice to see you take feedback from the accurate yet unnecessarily harsh comments about your edits in the previous "In The DAW" installment. Keep up the the awesome work!

    • @Twisty543

      Alon doesn't want anyone to know how his music is made for some reason.

    • @phsust
      @phsust 6 лет назад +1

      TwistyTie I get that producers don't want to speak about how they make their "signature sounds". That's what I like about in the DAW, it's not about "how to make this bass" but more about sound design technique, arrangement and the overall approach in making music in different ways. So I think it's sad that some producers don't want to talk about their stuff on the Internet since that's how a lot of them learned how to make music in the first place. Especially because the electronic music community always seems to be so inclusive it would be nice to see some bigger artists giving back a bit.

    Why use Fabfilter-R? wouldn't you want to reverb the tail of the snare when creating the tail in operator? Is it bad to reverb your snare before shaping with eq and compressing? Are there any side effects to compressing a signal that already has reverb in a specific frequency range?

      I loved the entire video from the technical knowledge to the funny little edits you guys threw in. One thing I look for in videos like these are when artists talk in depth about what obstacles or problems they faced while creating the song. Au5 touched on this by saying it was an experimental process creating this track. I love to hear when artists say they were stuck or didn't know what element to add. (ex: Darude said he sat on the melody for Sandstorm for a while before creating that epic song) I feel like when artists we look up to share their stories of struggle, it gives us 2 things; Solace knowing that we're not alone in the obstacles we face during our artistic pursuits & inspiration that we can make some dank ass tunes for the world to enjoy. Just my two cents :)

    24:42 "Blablabla.." = Must important part of the whole thing: How to create Music=> Music is an Art, and so: it's accessible to anyone no matter you know music or not. Music is something that comes into your mind, as the Perfection. ANd you just try to express this Perfection into sound. As Buddha or John said: Let it Be and express what you feel into Music.

    When Au5 shows his Kick 2 preset, I noticed that the Pitch Env Slider is set to 3.8K, but the first node in the envelope is set to A8 / 6.925kHz. Not sure how he managed that. I wonder if it's a visual bug.

    That is some incredible sound design!!
    Have you considered using Harmor and Vocodex in Propellerhead's Reason? I know you can do some pretty complex routing in FL patcher, but Reason takes it to a new level and it's Mac friendly. The mac patched FL plugins seem to work pretty well too, but their only 32bit, so you need jbridge or something similar for a 64 bit daw :/. I use Windows 10 on my beefy desktop because I don't have enough space on my MBP.
    I've found that combining LFO's and EG's with Reason's CV routing can be expressive in ways that I couldn't match with Logic Studio, Ableton, or FL. Also, resampled Omnishphere is the bee's knee's.
    Keep doing what you're doing man. You're a huge inspiration to me!! :D

      I think you all covered so much good stuff in this episode. I thought the zipper bass was just a SAW going through a comb filter - I was pleasantly surprised! The episode gave me a lot of good ideas :D

  • @jazzzWagon
    @jazzzWagon 6 лет назад

    24:47 That happens when you listen to too much music . Say youre exposed to 8 hours of constant tunes you start hearing things that are actually not there and then your mind takes over to fill the gaps in the tunes to make its way to harmony.

    • @jazzzWagon
      @jazzzWagon 6 лет назад

      Maybe I have I'm not sure. This one time I was at festival exposed to constant loud music for many many hours and then when it was all over I could still hear tunes in my head. I asked my brother if he could hear it too and he did and there was definitely no extenal music that was playing. I went home, opened my DAW and just started producning like usual. I did find myself attracted toward the tune that was playing in my head and really wanted to get it out and into the DAW so I tried. Dont remember if it worked out well

    the bass sounds more like an inspiration taken from the bass sounds of Perceptronium by Zebbler Encanti Experience - ruclips.net/video/LkGdNhu751E/видео.html
