I used to raise American Singer canaries years ago. Now as I consider getting back into the hobby I might look at a different type. I like this wild-type song. not as piercing as a common 'chopper' but brighter than a roller. Now hearing this, I think the white pet-store canary I recently saved from pending death and who is now starting to sing a little as he comes out of his unseasonal molt, might be a pet quality Yorkshire. The song is very similar to this, and he is physically noticeably longer than the typical pet store canary. He is singing back at this as I write, lol. Thanks for the vid! :- )
