Thank you! Interesting! The green stamp catalog was great!! I remember alot of the things in it too -my mom saved them. Oh&the Playgirl magazine I noticed it mentioned The Village People-i remember them too!! Lol
I was with United, in the 1980s, through the 1990s. ☺️ Always get excited seeing any vintage airline-related items❣️❤️ Growing-up, my brother had a huuuge blow-up of a Pan Am jetliner, hanging from his ceiling: 😅 Our pop was a frequent flier; he ignited my adventures. 😊
@@frandutton24 Yes; I recall the old Apollo-computer system; though I was on trained-on American Airlines res system (at my travel-agent school) our teacher was Kenny Rogers doppelgänger. 😄 I received my UAL Best-Airline training at a nearby O'Hare campus. 🙂 Loved every working moment, actually.💕 (Was at ORD UAL ticketing/gate)
@frandutton24 I didn't know Art; 🙂 his name is verrry familiar. 🤔 One Christmas Eve, the weather was poor, from that day onward, for several days. ☃️ Even downtown hotels were full; so folks were sleeping in the terminals.😑 We had to walk past folks to go home: 😔 I still recall my headache, which didn't go away, until a flight attendant gave me my first-ever Excedrin. ☺️
I have a few Star Wars memorabilia from 1977. I’m sure I’ll start letting it go soon. I had a lot of concert posters from the 1970’s and 80’s, so when I was moving to another city and starting on a new adventure in 2005 I just gave them away. Still kicking myself for that. 🤷🏼♀️😂😂
I was 25 in 1979 and gave up on Playgirl before that. Why? I never saw a single solitary man that looked like anyone in the magazines, lol! Mazel Tov to any woman who found a guy like that but it sure wasnt me. A reminder...the # of bids isnt the same as the number of bidders. On eBay it works simply as bids. Say you bid $10 on an item, then the next day you see a few watchers so you decide to up your max bid to $12. That shows up as 2 bids even tho its only one bidder. In reality you can have one person bid 5-10 times just raising their own bids . You can tell how many distinctive bidders in the bid history which show up as "code" names. I just had a new seller ask about this so thought Id mention it here since you do so many auctions. I hope you have a safe & happy holiday, George. I also hope you give yourself a well deserved break!
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
It's always fun seeing what sold for you. Learn something new everyday!
It teaches me every time so I figure it's worth sharing

@ Wow! Certainly a high profile job at ORD, especially if the weather is bad. Did you know Art Mischkie? He also worked the gates.

do you do postcards?
I do, really enjoy them. I did a video really early in my RUclips days (Jan. 2020 or so) about golden era postcards, you can find it in my playlist
