  • In this video I break down S2E6 of the most desired TV show out.
    Like, Subscribe, Share, and Comment!
    Disclaimer: As I go through these scenes, under no circumstance am I trying to one up the men who are working so hard to make this show the best. They are doing an amazing job.
    My primary objective is not to pick at the show but to educate others on what’s real, what’s not, and what not to do, to ensure you stay safe in the event you find yourself in a tactical situation that can’t be avoided.
    I believe these videos are mere learning lessons for some and sharpening the spear for others.

    "These guys come around the corner flawlessly."
    That made me smile, especially knowing the lead guy to the right is literally a former CAG operator.

  • @gob7116
    @gob7116 Год назад +25

    Might be worth noticing for future episodes but they usually have the actual operators take point. Leftie is Tyler Grey, former CAG, then the other usual rightie that takes point when the train is split is Full Metal, former Seal or Brock (the guy with the dog), who’s a cop.
    Ray and Clay are pretty in to training so they move quite well and sometimes get the closeups as pointmen too.
    Although Jason is usually the one lacking. Typically notice him as the 3rd guy on the stack and often just has the gun down to not flag but could also potentially fail to find work and clear other corners. Man is a little old and being a director too, I’m guessing he either doesn’t get enough hours to train like Ray or Clay, or the technical advisers can’t keep making him retake the scenes if he fails.
    I think Sonny is usually the sweeper having the hard breaching tools. But I can also remember him probably not being as smooth as Ray or Clay, but he does better than Jason.
    As for the Mexican sof in this scene, I guess they’d not want to reshoot a scene for an extra failing to be smooth. Great breakdown nonetheless and hope for more

      I have no clue of who is who honestly.

    • @gob7116
      @gob7116 Год назад +2

      @@frogmantactical hard to tell with all their gear and the patches being obscured most of the time but usually people have a hard time distinguishing Full Metal with Jason, the former being a taller guy and the latter being the slower wider guy. Brock is a bit lean while the others are easier to pick up. Usually would get to notice after some more episodes on the show.
      They also have a habit of getting more seals in the show, even in an acting capacity. Maybe this would be frogman tactical’s debut on the big screen?

    Like how you break down these scenes from Hollywood to Real Operations. I think it is good for Hollywood to do what they do so the enemy does not have the real TTP's !

    Being a good soldier/operator/police officer or whatever else is really about mastering mitigation. You can train and train and train and study theory all day to try and eliminate things not going perfect but when something doesn't go perfect you need to mitigate the circumstances to ensure that the deviation from the ideal is as minimal and least impactful as possible.

    I will say this is probably the ONLY show left on tv that I look forward to watching. Pretty much nothing else. Dont know if anyone saw this or Im wrong but at 21:45 there were 2 puffs of gas projecting out the end of suppressor as if shots were being fired but when the camera pulls back, that guy isnt even on the gun. Unless he is just shooting from the hip and also not looking lol. Full speed you probably would never catch that but it was being shown in slow motion.

    I think that most of the mistakes you pointed out that some of the guys made when making entry or any other movements, were the Mexican soldiers. So realistically, it makes sense that they suck since they're not operators like you😊

    Mr. Pike; First I'd like to say thank you for your service, I have learned so much from you, God bless! Since you break down scenes from this show on occasion, can we have your thoughts on "Jason"? When shooting, he rarely holds his rifle properly! He holds his rifle too low on his shoulder, blades himself too much, and he aims above his optic instead of through it. And because of that, the rifle always seems to be canted up. Sorry but this really bugs me. To me it just seems like he doesn't care to add realism to this part of his character.

    One issue is stress and how we react when in life and death stress. Everyone is different. I have issues wrapping my hand around the grip, meaning reaching the trigger is something I have to be conscience of. Some have buck fever where they are over thinking and tend to loose focus. This is the factor that hollywood can't place in their act. This is why we continue to train.
