Nature seems to be the only language I know just now, but it's a lovely place to be 🙂 Really hope you're all well and a big, heartfelt thanks for watching, all the best, David
@@RuairidhMason Thanks so much Ruairidh, hope you're well, it's great to hear from you. They're not very popular, but I love making them and I'll keep going as long as I can 🙂 Be great to meet you one day. All the best, David
Beautiful work David! I love your low angle dolly shots through the foliage like at 01.53 and particularly at 04.13. I share your passion for heading out into nature with a camera. Even if our work is to be replaced by AI in the future (god forbid!), nothing can take away the pleasure we get from this. Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much Richard - you’re an absolute superstar and I’m very lucky to know you 🙂 Take good care of yourself and all the best with the half-marathon.
Hi Melanie, thanks so much, I’m so glad you enjoyed it. It’s a really beautiful beach and I hope you can visit soon. Have a lovely weekend and thanks for watching. All the best, David 😀

@@DavidWheaterScotland, Was back in Scotland August last year with my youngest daughter. About 5 hours ago my daughter texted me to remind me we have to start planning our trip back to Scotland next year 😄. Can't wait to get back to Edinburgh, Glencoe and The Isle of Skye. With a wee stop in Galway just to start the ball rolling 🍻🤣
Hello David, greetings from London. Lovely video, the lambs, flowers, trees just all so refreshing to see. Love bumble bees. Simplicity in photos is the best, like the leaf on the water. Music very apt, thanks for sharing, God bless, Janet.
Thanks so much Janet, so glad you enjoyed watching. We’re incredibly lucky with an abundance of nature & wildlife around the city. Hope you have a lovely weekend and thanks, as always, for watching, best wishes, David 🙂
Aww… that’s wonderful. Sometime’s we really can lose heart with what we’re doing and lose motivation. But much like life, everything ebbs & flows, and the inspiration resurfaces, often when we least expect it. Enjoy finishing it, I’m sure it’ll be brilliant (uniquely you) and thanks so much for watching, it’s much appreciated. Warmest best wishes, David 🙂
Thank you David for such a wonderful video! You presented for all of Us beauty of yours amazing country, I get desire to be there at this moment to catch all that beauty beauty with mine own eyes! THANK You

Hi Alan, great to hear from you and hope you’re well. Really glad you enjoyed these nature videos - they were lovely to make. Should have a Glasgow video out this week with an overview of some of my favourite places, which I hope you’ll like. Finally heading up north to the Highlands this week which I’m really looking forward to and will do some filming. Hope you have a lovely weekend and thanks, as always, for all your support. Best wishes, David 🙂
Hi David, Beautiful video that only a human being, not a machine can create. Sure, AI can create but what it creates is artificial like its name says-Artificial. What you create comes from your heart, soul and mind; your caring and compassion. A machine has none of those qualities and can't even appreciate what it has created. Your creativity is a blessing given to you that can't be deleted like we can delete a program from a machine. Keep on doing what you're doing and let your human creativity keep shining brightly. Take care and be well.
Thanks so much for your very kind words & support Mike. I really appreciate your very wise take on things and will definitely keep going, despite this complicated new world 🙂 Hope you have a lovely weekend and I hope to be back soon with another video celebrating the wonderful city of Glasgow. Warmest best wishes & thanks, David
Fabulous. But of course! And your note is a reminder that some so-called 'creatives' should be wary of the AI future. While danger abounds I believe that those with soul - you certainly have that - will have little to fear. AI, like auto-tune for recordings, HDR in photography and Photoshop for graphics is mentally fatiguing. Indeed, the return of vinyl records confirms that the sterile 'perfection' of CDs is uncomfortable for the brain. Interestingly, in a book of Edinburgh I have from the 1980s there is a photo of a door, likely at Edinburgh University, on which there is a sign: 'Dept. of Artificial Intelligence'. So AI is nothing new. The challenge is that like so much technology once limited to the qualified few, AI, like the automobile and the mobile phone will be accessible to every fool who can afford it. As for Taylor Swift, yes, savvy, driven and talented. But according to my daughter Ms. Swift long ago connected with a generation of young women via her lyrics. Much of what we see now is the wave of interest fuelled by the hoopla. Will she ever tour again? The hologram idea you suggest is one way, though she already did that in a sense by putting out a concert movie earlier this year, possibly as an option for those unable to attend the actual concerts. She's definitely ahead of the game. I think it safe to say that there is nothing artificial about her intelligence. Once again, this is a fine video, David. An another reveal of what Edinburgh and its environs offer for those who care to go have a look.
