Such a classy player - respectful, straightforward and genuine. She also seems to be able stand up for herself and voice her honest opinions, not seeking approval from others, not needing to please people or strive to be popular. It’s very healthy and I’m happy for her, as well as for those young athletes or kids she’s a role model to. Too many young people and adults live in need of constant approval, whether it’s through likes on social media or through constantly comparing themselves to others. Even the haters or ordinary trolls often post because of the desire to be noticed, to be seen, to feel that someone cares about what they say. But if you can live your life without the ongoing need to be validated by the external world, this is how you can find freedom to just be who you really are, find the inner peace and pursue your passions for the sake of joy and fulfilment. This is what I’ve observed with the greatest athletes - they always try to be the best version of themselves and realise their full potential, often not really worrying so much about their rivals and competitors but rather working on their own craft - this is what’s called intrinsic motivation as opposed to being motivated by external causes like proving something to someone. I think Iga is one of these “pure” athletes and although she’s obviously engaging in matches to win, her deeper level of motivation seems to come from the desire to perform the best tennis she possibly can.
People don't realize that she is just 22 years old and she has accomplished so much. She can relax this year and doing her best to remain consistent. You can't have the same results each year of tennis. She will get better
Sometimes this might not come across because English is her second language, but Iga is a very genuine person and wears her heart on her sleeve. She doesn't try to cultivate some image of herself, she simply is herself and lets her tennis do the talking
At 21 years old, to be still World Number 1, people didn't imagine what a great training Iga Świątek live ! So let her loose in peace a tournament if it happen cause the future is walking in front of her. Jazdą Iga keep going in your way as you do and take care of your Health baby. We love you so much Iga 🇵🇱🌐🥇💪🎵🎶🎵

Team hired a month ago Jerzy Janowicz, a Wimbledon semifinalist, to improve her serve game. His serve speed was recorded at the speed of 245 km/h, and his highest ranking in ATP was #14. You can see already over 60 % first serve in, in one match it was over 80 %. Speed 185 km/h. Her second serve, a kick serve, is the best on the tour, especially on clay.
1GA can potentially improve her serves especially the first one. Legends have perfected this secret weapon and always handy in tie breakers and deciders. Hope the team is working on her first serves not to hit the net most of the time. Good luck 1GA you can do it!!! JAZDA!

Slow clay is now the last surface where she is safe with her disastrous service, eaten alive by top players. No progress in that department since forever. If she doesn't hire a service coach and fire her current pseudo coach, she's done.

Good news tbh
Tomacz isn't a great coach on serves imo

If Iga has a great service there is NO more chance for other players
