This video was taken end of January, which is part of peak season. Maldives is always warm, just some months during off-peak season you will be experiencing a lot of rain and storms (with a lot of waves).

Hi JVPI, I was there on January which is peak season. Weather is great, you won’t get much of the waves and the wind like in off-season. I think peak season is Jan - March

Hi! It depends which resort. A lot of them during off peak season offer really good deals such as 50 - 70% off the normal price. I think it may be a must, or at least experience it for a day and not the whole duration of your stay?

Hello! During lowtide you can stand in the water. But please check the tides as well because sometimes the tides can be strong if you go on the off season.

Hi! This is the Grand Water Sunset villa. It's also located in the more peaceful side (less wavy).
I cant see any A.C anywhere is weather warm here or hot ?
Hello! There is AC inside the rooms. It gets very hot during summer, maybe around 30-35 degrees Celsius so around lunch time, it’s too hot to hang outside unless you are in the swimming pool 😊

I wonder how deep is the water.. I mean i don't know swimming but i want to enjoy in beach water so is it shallow enough for that?
If you are near the swing and by the villas, it is pretty shallow so you can stand up in the water :)

I'm from maldives, also i was working there as a waiter the management of this resort are not profesional and evryday from 7am to 11:30 pm we guys are doing hard work but the problem is management is not going to pay our salary and service charge properly thats what i resign from that resort.. but i agreed the hotel is like paradise very small hotel and thts right hotel the rooms are so beautiful.. everyday all staff are doing very hard work not only fnb all departments staff are doing very hard work i don't think 220dollar is deserve for my salary for whole month and 120 or the maximum rate of servivice charge is 150 i don't think evry staff deserve for tht much service charge.. hotel management is from srilanka they re concern about only mangers nd their asistant... i'm sure any of staff will not happy for tht resort managent.. i have worked many resorts but i haven't seen other hotel like this kind of disrespect i mean the managers are not respect their staff but other hotels they are concern about staff and also they respect even labour guy also.. this is not lie you can ask from other guy before their worked or now also working their.. hotel is so beautiful this is a only my concern of tht hotel the management..

It was worth it for me and my husband because it was our honeymoon. But I agree, it is a bit pricey for a normal vacation. There are other beautiful water villas that you can get when it is off peak season and watch out for discount. There's a lot :)
ahh okay thanks, so the prices can vary quite a lot but overall it’s quite expensive. Maybe I’ll go when I find the special someone and hopefully get an upgrade like you 😂

We were allowed at our time, as long as you don’t go above the private villas for privacy concerns 😊
Unfortunately drone is not allowed in the villa areas. Only allowed at main pool and onu onu bar beach with the permission for sales department
