[75mph!] Class 313 ride Barnham - Chichester

A fantastic ride on a motor coach of a Class 313 between Barnham and Chichester. This is a fast stretch of line for the 313s which are usually better suited to routes with stations close together. Barnham and Chichester is by far the longest section without any stations in-between that 313s venture on regularly. These are currently the oldest domestic passenger trains in service on heavy rail in the UK, at 46 years old (2022).
The line speed between Barnham and Chichester is 75mph, which is also the maximum speed of the 313s.
Note the audible pitch of the motor whines are higher than that of the 455s... I have a video of a 75mph 455 ride for comparison on my channel.

I love how it went from somewhat bright with a lot of cloud, to almost stormy looking in just 7 minutes.

Amazing motor sounds these 313s have!! It's gonna be sad seeing them go but they do have good memories

I've got tickets booked for the tour on April 29. Want to get some more motor recordings but it'll be incredibly busy
