Which means you're going to have to take the disc drive off of yours assuming it's compatible. And then the PS4 you have now is going to have to be a digital only or you can sell it as a digital only I assume.
You won't be able to have two.
When I upgraded my Xbox One s to my Xbox One X I had two consoles that played discs and 4K Blu-rays.
To me that's an insane price with no disk drive. Just to get 60 frames in graphics mode.

I think the people that are gonna buy the PS5 Pro are the ones that wanna have the overall best gaming experience with top tier hardware inside. Not everyone is gonna buy it especially if you are already are satisfied with your Base and Slim PS5 versions but I think Sony is expecting that.
My only criticism is that it should’ve came with the disc drive instead of having to buy one for $80. That $700 price tag is huge but I wouldn’t mind it if it came with the disc drive. To me physical media is very important and most of my PS5 games are physical games.
I’ve seen a lot of hot takes thrown at Sony some I agree with like the disc drive and having more new games that can take advantage of the PS5 Pro while others saying this is the worst decade for gaming and Sony is being greedy for making the consumer buy this.
The way I see it is if you want the most powerful console and you have the income then I don’t see a problem wanting to a PS5 Pro. If people don’t want it then I think that’s okay as well.

Basically $800 for a “physical/disc drive” PS5 pro is insane. I don’t know the technical upgrades but the upcoming 2TB Xbox series X (which comes with the ability to take discs) will be $600
