if you are starting out with many birds , I'd advice you do point of lay especially if you won't be hands on and a new farmer
you can do day old if you have experienced hands to be with the birds

My question is how much can one get land around your area for this type of project?
I reside in ondo state,the reason for this is that i discovered that there are lots of poultry farmers around that axis, in general for a starter how much do i need to have to install layer farm.

My farm is in Ogun state , Sagamu local government. While I am not so certain about the current price for a plot of land , it most likely varies from 600 thousand Naira to about a million Naira.

I input the data myself . My staff will call at the end of each day, the whole data inputting takes less than 3 mins of my time .
