FAQs/Why would they do that?! Answers
We are so glad you are here! Welcome to our channel!
1. We are in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border.
2. We do this on a volunteer basis.
3. Kim aka Mom is retired. Jennifer owns her own business as a massage therapist.
4. We film multiple locations in one day since we can’t go out all the time given Jen’s full time job. You may not see all the locations we filmed that day in one video.
5. You may see other people in our videos at times including Granny aka Sue (mom’s mom), Jeff (Kim’s husband and Jennifer’s dad), or Jessica (Jennifer’s little sister) and Lucy (our beautiful, amazing, wonderful dog).
6. Many wonder why we put stuff down culverts. A few reasons: it provides help for wildlife, we like to and it would have gone downstream anyway. If it blocks another culvert then we will take care of that too but most of the locations we visit are in incredibly rural areas where there won’t be another culvert for miles.
7. We care about wildlife and never want to cause harm to them. The only reason we will clear a beaver damn is if it is threatening land or roads that can not be accessed any other way. It may not be the road directly within sight but a farm road close by.
8. We appreciate advice in the comments. We understand that we will receive constructive criticism in the comments. What we won’t allow is the calling of names, derogatory terms, or just plain calling us stupid or idiots. We are all adults here and the internet is already a largely negative place as it is, let’s not add to it. We are people doing our best to help our neighborhood and planet by picking up trash and clearing culverts. Why do we deserve hate for that?
9. You may not agree with or like the way we did something but that doesn’t mean we did it wrong. There is a right/wrong way to dismantle a bomb. Clearing culverts is up for interpretation to the one doing the work.
10. We hope that you enjoy our videos and will keep coming back for more! Any other questions you have feel free to ask in the comments.

Post10 must feel really proud to have inspired other culvert uncloggers ! 😊
I've grown very fond of your videos, very quickly. Not only because you do such an amazing job. But I love seeing the bond between all your family, especially mom and daughter.
Thank you so much!
I was sad not to hear one, “Go baby go!” By mom.
I LOVE Granny!!! I love when she helps y’all. So cute.
I don't know when you actually made this, but it was beautiful. Keep up the good work.
My husband and I watch your videos every afternoon with lunch. We so enjoy your family! The respect for one another and seeing your grandma enjoying nature.
Tell mom we enjoy her showing us the changing scenery, flowers and especially walking down the creeks!
Maybe show us more video of where the water comes from and where it goes.
No complaints, it seems there is too much of that!
You all do wonderful work! Its easy to be an armchair quarterback for too many!
Looking forward to more adventures with y'all!
that's sweet! glad you enjoy them together!
Aloha 🌺 Kim & Jen, Grandma! Such a beautiful day, wonderful wildlife. Thank you! ,,🌺💐🌹💖
Great job! Always good to see Granny!
Your stubbornness for that culvert was to be applauded, it that keeps me watching ❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊
Great work. I understand your frustration with the missing culvert. I admire your tenacity. You just never give up. Thanks for another entertaining video. 🇨🇦😎🇨🇦
HEY KID LOVED THE GREEN GLOVE JOB NO RAKE FANTASTIC.👍🏻
That very first stop where Jenn knocked it out of the park. Watcher all of that debris get sucked in & the water being all clear by the time she was done. I could watch that over & over. Just something so satisfying seeing all of that get sucked up. Then again when I use to own a pool & ran the vacuum I loved watching all of the dirty & stuff on the bottom get sucked up. Fun fact. Don’t ever let the pool suction hose grab your inner thigh. I had to stick my finger between my leg & the hose to break the suction & get it off my leg. You want to talk about a perfect 2” circle hickey on your leg….😳🤣.
😂
I wouldn't have the knees to do the amazing work you do!
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO LADIES ANOTHER JOB WELL DONE 😊
I have to thank you for putting out this video at this time. For at least half an hour, I've been scrolling through the list of videos that RUclips 'suggested' and was running out of ones I'm willing to watch. What a relief when yours popped up! I Subscribe but being on a disability prevents me from financially supporting others. I can help you by always watching your videos to the end, so that's what I do.
I know some of the work you do is hard work. I know it's appreciated by the local authorities and many members of the public. Budget constraints nowadays prevent our local 'works/roads' departments from regularly doing this maintenance work. Your work can save the local area a lot of money which transforms into increased taxes sometimes, so THANK YOU FOR THAT!
Thank you, we really appreciate it 😊
New viewer. Found you last night. Looove your work!
Thank you and welcome 🤗
Jennifer, you’re Beast! You cleaned out that culvert. Great Job!!🧡🧡
Total commitment as usual, thanks for sharing all this with us.
I love watching the team work you have and knowing your strengths.
good job Jen, it gets easier i swear:)
li love seeing you use that red clipper i sent you! great job today.
I love them 😍
I see the storms around you stay safe.
I agree with Holly. Not only do I love watching you work but I love the bond you all have.
Miss my mom and my dad. 😢
Sorry about your parents 😢
@@culvertsandmore thank you.
Another good episode. Good job ladies. Too bad "Dad's tool" didnt help this time. I know that one frustrated you.
You guys worked hard trying to find that one hidden culvert…that’s dedication!
42:34 suggestion: lay a piece of pipe in the culvert (from your dads tool) and get the angle of the culvert. Lay another on top of the road at the same angle as the one in the culvert. Bit should point pretty close to the opening of the culvert.
Jennifer you are a power house. Well done that is hard work
So glad to see you with gloves on today, Jen...good work and maki g memories with Mom.😊😊
put the rake handle up the pipe and see where it is pointing....🙂🙂.
I'm following the news about flooding and tornadoes in Texas and Oklahoma. Stay safe, you guys.
Jennifer you took that blockage out like you were slapping Mike Tyson around. ❤😂😂😂😂
And he lost badly 😢...keep up the great work.
I wonder I have not seen Anny flowers or green grass in the month of may yet.In my country its all green and flowering and I live way up north in Scandinavium.
Love the more recent videos. Since discovering y'all I've been watching past ones. Love the bond y'all have for each other. Thank you for sharing. 🙂
Great job ladies!
Mum, you sound like Robocop with your electric blades! 😂😂🇬🇧💜🇬🇧
Wow you did a great job and you have a lot of patience
Awesome video y’all be safe up there with these storms today
I just love the sound of the stream flowing
❤ keep up the good work guys
Wow, what a surprise, such a long video. I loved it! Well done ladies! ❤
My day is complete. Thank you. I now look forward to Monday.
Family first keep up the great work North Carolina cares
You should have a search stick. It can be made from, for example, rebar of one meter. Jeff can make a mockery loss on one end. You can pop into the ground to find culverts.
Sorry for bad English. Uses a translation service.
Love watching you and your mom, y'all are awesome whether you are doing culverts, ditches and the I commend you the most is beaver dams.
You guys got your work out in this video. Great team. You guys get the job done and some. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🤗
such agreat job
Wow ladies, excellent video yet again, you do an amazing job every time, well done 👏
Why put logs etc though culverts to block up further down stream
i so much want to help, i'm raking my monitor
First job done by LumberJen!
I feel your frustration with that culvert that wouldn't reveal it's entrance! I had an idea until you said it was plastic! (Metal Detector) Hopefully you'll find it another day as I think that would have been a good flow! Keep up the Great work!
Where I live in Wisconsin, the glaciers ground all of our stone into sand during the ice age. I have ZERO stones in my yard. Every time I see culverts blocked by stones, I almost get jealous.😂
Great work 👍🏻
Have y'all had any bad weather up there? I know down her in South Central and east Texas we are have major rain falls and floods. My husband works for the city as a garbage man and they are having to go an hour out one way just to make it to the landfill. The main road from our city to the landfill is flooded. Y'all please be safe up there. Please watch out for snakes it's that time of year. We had one in our house about a week ago. We live in town.
We haven’t had it as bad as you guys have. Take care of yourselves😊
that must have been exhausting.😓
@19:51 Now who would put stickers on a tree? .....🤣🤣🤣🤣
The stickers I was referring to are the vines that have thorns 😊
@@culvertsandmore 🤣🤣🤣
Have a great day and be safe.
Yay we got exiting camera back
Great job ladies ❤
You need a sump pump with a generator to pump it out of the ditch that would work
Pozdrawiam z Polski 🇵🇱
🤗
If you think about it perhaps a spray can of reflective paint above each pipe might make it quicker to find in the future... It could save you some time ... Have a great day, ladies
Oh, maybe a bright flashlight to find the reflective response
It is getting to be that time of year that you will need the Terry cloth headbands to catch the forehead sweat so it won't go into your eyes.
Hi ladies another awesome job.. pls be aware stagnant water I know I keep on. 5 yrs ago my dad had it also 1 other person they were the only 2 in the UK.
Poke it with a metal rod straight down in that mud. You probably missed it by inches. The tree shadow was going straight across so that could have been an indication too. Cudos for “Dads tool” try.😊
You can tap around too. The mud is kind of lose so might find it a little easier. I'm wrong. Of course.
Post 10 started a niche
Metal detector to find the metal pole?
long screwdriver to probe for the plastic culverts
hi Granny
Thanks!
Thank you 😊
hi Dad
I like your show. I may have heard you mention beavers. Are there beavers in Australia? You also mentioned the northern territories. Are you from Australia?
We are from Oklahoma in the USA
@@culvertsandmore thanks I am in Victoria Australia. In Australia we have a state called the Northern Territory. It covers a vast area of Australia. That’s what confused me. Hopefully you were not affected by the recent tornado that hit Sulphur.
❤😊
Can’t you use dads plunger stick and push/pump the other side? That way you might see movement on the other end? 🇬🇧💜🇬🇧
Oops you did xx
If you tap or bang 😮on one end of the culvert, will it help you find the other? Did you do the math how many sections of pipe would it take to cross that road?
What a great compilation today! That culvert with the blocked end was really frustrating. I would bet that, with some kind of Star Trek physics, you would have had a crowd of us with you looking around for that pipe! 😂 And that buried cable box. 🤯🧐 Hope you both have a great week ahead!
Should have laid the pipe on top of road give you idea of where it is.
Kim, you really need to drop your potato rake with the tines the furthest away from you. It's an accident waiting to happen.
And they should always be pointing down.
Smells like my sneakers xxxxxx
Men’s likes human jcb xxxx
great video! Not exactly sure where ya'll are at so was wondering if you're getting the storms/tornados I've seen on my weather radar.
I was very concerned for your well being. Let us know.😮
Why do you have two cameras recording the same scene?
It's water going in and in the other water going out, try watching what's happening.
Maybe it was damaged
Hi Jennifer, you are doing a very good Job. But I'm so sorry, your groaming is really uncomfortabl for me, it hurt's. So is it possible for you to stop it? ❤❤ I hope you'r not angry with me. Greetings from Germany
No offense taken. I’m certainly not doing it on purpose. It’s just hard work coming out.
Love your videos but the recent camera work is too dizzying for me that I can’t finish watching. Sorry, ladies.
Sorry about that
Top job ladies
