This is supposed to help games that won't load right? I don't have this problem but my friend does sent this video to help just a quick question even though this video is old
I was installing Halo Master Chief Collection through the internet and was waiting for about 4 hours totally forgetting I had the game in my external hard drive. Moved the game from my hard drive to my Series X in about 10 minutes. Saved me 2 hours, Thanks.
Thank you! I tried using network transfer, and by using this method instead, Doom 2016 when from installing in 5 hours to 10 minutes. Yet, I’ve seen sources say the network transfer is the better option for moving games.
To my understanding Its the new "Velocity Architecture" that makes the difference on the internal/propriety external. This effects both speed and graphics. The velocity arch effects how high end assets are loaded in the game, as a result it's not just speed, but graphics/fidelity that's affected as well.
Thanks for the tip. Does the game data copy over with the game or do you have to copy that over separately? Because I want to know how to backup my game progress and data outside of the Xbox cloud. Any tips in doing so?
Okay thanks for this video bro cause I just bought a XSX and I wanted to know how to do this and you also told me exactly what I wanted to hear by saying the Series X optimized games won’t run from my 4 tb hard drive. Now I know to transfer all my physical and digital Xbox One games to my internal hard drive, again thanks for this video and I subbed to you’re channel for if I need more info about my Series X.
So I was finally able to find a Xbox series s, I want the series x but I got lucky and found a series s from Best Buy today. Can pick up December 27th. I will buy a series x when I can find one, but I at least wanted to have a series s so I can play the medium and I’m not missing out on awesome frame rates and Ray tracing. Will suck going from 4K on Xbox one x for a bit but worth it for frame rates. Hopefully by spring I’ll be able to find a series x and I’ll give my Xbox series s to my nephew! Can’t wait to get my series s on the 27th and play gears 5 in 120fps!
Can I use my old Xbox 1 with a 1 TB drive as an external drive? I have also read that I will no longer be able to play games that were bought on DVD if I move them to an XBOX Series S as since the S does not have a DVD drive there will be no way to validate them. Could I get around this by playing the game by accessing the XBOX 1 from an XBOX S and having the DVD in the drive of the old XBOX 1?
I want to do that with my saved data for the game not just the game cuz I switched my account but i still want my saved game data to be on my new xbox series s i need help
I have Just 1 question. I have all my stuff on ps4 slim it broke. Can i trasfer it to xbox series s? I mean like online games like Brawlhalla,Fortnite,Call of duty and more. Can i*
will the seagate 2tb xbox external hard drive which is designed for box one work on box series s...please reply!! i do not want to waste $ 220 please reply!
@@PositiveGaming just got my Xbox Series X through Verizon. I love it. And I like the transfer thing so I don't have to waste money on a Xbox external drive. But it sucks you can't play on other external drives cause they make you buy their external drives

So how on average how long do you think it would take to transfer say a 100gb game from the external ssd to the Xbox series s. I have the 1gigabyte fiber internet, so factor in really fast internet? I hope you see this, I’m trying to get a Series S, I just wanna know, can I copy my friend’s game from their own console to mine? I’m trying to save myself money! And my internet is slow too, it would take forever to download a 50gb game.
Out of curiosity I know it depends on the size of the game but work with me give or take how many games can the system 1tb can hold before its almost filled up.
The storage is not exactly 1TB in size, it is more like 750GB, since the system and the OS occupy some of its space. The cutting edge latest popular 4K games are usually about 120GB each in size. Therefore about 6 of these games can fit onto the drive. Most optimized games for series X and S are about 60GB. Having an external drive is very useful for having the ability to own a larger library of games.
Xbox one, 360 and og can all play from external, but games optimised for s or x will not run so you'll need to have them on your internal to play or external to store
@@PositiveGaming so if I put the new black ops on my hdd harddrive it will play off that hard drive ? But when I buy the new halo when it comes out that won’t run off a hard drive only ssd and the normal Xbox storage is that correct so only series x games work on the normal Xbox series x storage unit and the ssd slot but not the hdd external storage only compatible games like cod mw and old games and like black ops and the new nba and stuff will run off the external hard drive I have bought ? Just want to make sure I’m getting this all right
@@Matt-ne3cl the new black ops on ur hard drive will not use the series S features but if u move it to the internal hard drive it will, once you are done playing you can just move it back into your hard drive.
I did this but when i try to play the game , it says that you don’t own the game . I had bought the game in the old x box with the same hard drive . I don’t know what to do 💔💔

Can we just appreciate that this man called the NVMe custom 1TB SSD a hard drive?

Wait so if I move a game from my external to internal on series x, will that game then have the series x/s enhanced logo on it?
Yes
If the game is optimized for Series X/S I suppose

Are you moving from an external SSD or HDD?
Do they have to be downloaded specifically FOR Xbox or can I download a game I play on the PC and transfer it to Xbox? I'm guessing no
I have a question i am moving forza horizon 5 from an x to a one and it says it isn’t compatible and won’t move
Whats the difference between move game or copy game .I don't want to make any mistakes
Move just takes it and moves it, while copy leaves a copy on your external and makes one on your internal as well.

You can use external HDD, doesn't have to be ssd, but it does need to be minimum usb3.0
I'm assuming this won't be the case if you have the dedicated external SSD hard drive? Asking for a friend ;)
