The golden mushrooms are out big-time in allamakee County. We found the first Morales I have ever seen couple of days ago. The Pheasant bags are huge and really tender. Looks like an awesome year. I need more freezer space. I hope you and your youngsters are doing well.

Fun fact: Most of fungal organism is the below-the-surface mycelium "roots" and the above-ground mushroom we like to find and eat is the fungus's reproductive organ.
