I owned a 1974 Cadillac Coupe de Ville for 22 years. It pained me to sell it. I loved that car! It was in good shape, and i drove it for pleasure, parades, car shows, and my kids used it for their proms & wedding. It was a "very 70's" avocado green. Thanks for the video clip. I love those Cadillac cars!
My grandfather had this in orange with the white vinyl top. The interior was white leather with green/orange/white plaid. It was the epitome of 70s land yacht gorgeousness.
Wow, 500 cubic inches of lazy boat anchor... Lol. Honestly though it's sad that an engine that large with a 4 bbl only musters 190 hp shows the state of the auto industry in the mid 1970s. That really is a beautiful machine and I wish all the best to whomever ends up with it. Thanks for a great video. ✌️
@@christianbugatticg Yes, I agree it was the 70's and the Cadillacs of that period were more focused on luxury cruisers, not speed demons. In my opinion the current V-Series Caddies have combined the speed and luxury together. Obviously we're not getting the same boat float we did with the older ones. I hope Cadillac can put something like that together sometime in my lifetime!! ✌️💪
3:58 I think the one center vent is possessed ....it moved on its own, or is directly connected to the rear defrost switch!👻🤣 All kidding aside, Bill, this is another beauty! 👍
The very first Cadillac I ever drove was a 1975 Coupe De Ville. I remember it vividly. It was Firethorn Red with a white top and red interior. I turned into Will Smith at that moment, “I gotta get me one of these!” Been obsessed with Cadillacs ever since. Marvelous example there.
For anyone new to this channel You can't go wrong with any car that Bill puts up for sale. He is the most honest transparent dealer around. He will go out of his way to point out the smallest flaws in a cars paint most of which you would need a magnifying glass to see.
This is one of those driving videos where the loudest sound seems to be the HVAC blower! These mid-70s Cadillacs are among the best-riding cars ever. --Tom AKA E.L. Cord
For what it's worth, I wish you put a price on these cars instead of sending all of them to Bring a Trailer. Don't get me wrong, I love these offerings It would make things a lot easier for people to buy a car and have it shipped to their location. Specialty Motor Cars in Pelham New Hampshire does a great job of offering classic cars to buyers with a set price and offers shipping to wherever that person lives.
To be honest, I tried back in 2020 selling these off my lot and not on BAT. It really didn't work out for me. By sending them to BAT it puts these cars on the eyes of the most bidders with the most serious intent. Anyone is welcome to come to my showroom at any given time and look. I do sell cars off of BAT to many people if they see something on RUclips that I have not yet submitted to BAT. Also anyone can call anytime and I can put their name on my list and I call before I put a car on BAT if it's something they want. Here is my number and I can explain in more detail if you like! And Anthony does a great job as well but he does do an occasional car on BAT. To give you a perfect example, when I started delving deeper into the classic car market, I started with 6 nice cars on my lot. Took me over 6 months to sell them and all I heard was, "Oh my God that is too much money"!! Lol. And really they were all very good deals. Just this past month I sold 7 or so cars just on BAT. It just simply works. Thanks again!
I appreciate you getting back to me. I also appreciate your honesty. Believe me, that goes a long way in the car business. I am a big fan of these cars and own a 97 Town Car that I drive everyday. What's out there today does nothing for me. I will always be a subscriber. Keep them coming.
Loved mine would lean back hit the cruise on interstate 80mph got 14mpg with that 500 gas at 89 cents gal then...could almost drive hands-free for miles was soo straight and stable...sailed like a land yacht and an equal beast in the winter plowed through any lake-effect blizzard no problem
Hey Bill, sorry but the pin stripes on this car are not factory. The factory stripes terminate at the end of the doors. I know, as there were many 1975 and 1976 Caddy's in my family and Brooklyn neighborhood. Otherwise, it's a beautiful car !
Gotcha. I do recall back when I went to work with my dad, the "dealer" would install those for an upcharge. Should have said, likely dealer installed. Thanks!
Nice, but I won't do bring a trailer.. put a price.. if I like asking, the price or is within range to negotiate the price.. I transfer funds to cover it and transport..
That I do understand. Call me Monday and we can discuss what you want and make a deal before a car goes to BAT. Obviously it's too late for this one. Thanks! Bill 843 294 7777

Awww too bad you got rid of it! Glad you liked the video!
Another stunning find. I’m not a GM guy, but some of these old Cadillac’s are just fantastic!
Why thank you!
Man, what a beauty!
Thank you!
What I would give to go cruising around in this beautiful automobile! Thanks for sharing it, I hope it goes to someone who appreciates it! 😎❤️👍
Thanks! Seems like all my buyers appreciate all their buys!

Oh very nice!
That 500 c.i. is an awesome engine. Love it
I agree!
It is incredible to me how you are able to find these cars. They are ALL in very good/great shape. Especially considering how old they are
Lots of hunting! They are out there but getting harder to find!

They need to get those plush couches and bouncy spring suspensions going with a supercharged beast under the hood...
It's about time the moment I've been waiting for😂 the floors all yours senator and back to the show
Hahaha! This is no Corvette!
I loved his video on the 83 Datsun 280ZX turbo, 2+2!! I had thar same car in white.
Turbo Z's are one of my favorites!

LOL!! They do that! I can remember my dad and uncle always had a matchbook or a small piece of paper wedged under them to keep them straight. HAHAAHA!
Beautiful
Thank you!
What a car! I miss the days when GM actually built vehicles that I would buy.
I totally agree!

Thanks Carmine!! I recently missed a small heater core leak on an Eldorado. Customer called, got me a quote and I didn't hesitate to send a check!

Where are you located at?
We are at
541 Piedmont Ave
Myrtle Beach SC 29577
Fuel injected or carb?
He mentioned the 4brl carburetor
4bbl carb.
Wouldn't surprise me
This is a champ!
I’d be cruising slow leaning to the side
Oh yeah, with some proper 70's music!
