Happened on my playthrough: Osvald did the finishing blow on Harvey and ended the fight with "Study harder!". Is there a better way to finish his campaign than that? I think not.
@@InsertCreativeHandleHere09 Kaldena and Harvey both tried bending the shadow to their will, and at least canonically Harvey lived (lore learned when going for the merchant and scholar flame during "The Journey for Dawn" section of the game)
@@DeadlyPL It's likely this was based on a mistranslation. In the original Japanese, they use a phrase that can mean both "defeated" and "forced to retreat", with the context being the former but the more common translation being the latter.
I'll give my top lines for each one: - Ochette: "Aroooooooo! {giggle}" - Castti: "I know no cure for evil." - Throne: "I take what I want." - Osvald: "Hmmm. I've seen worse methods." - Partitio: "Time to divvy up the earnings!" - Agnea: "I wasn't expectin' that!" - Temenos: "May the Sacred Flame guide you. Or something like that." - Hikari: "There's no need for flattery. It'll rust my sword."
there's a few ones here that really get me. Castti's "no cure for evil" is probably my fav but I also love how Agnea dips back into her country accent with her first line and Temenos regarding the battle as nothing more than a tantrum. It's funny how Osvald can say less than half of one of Cyrus's victory quotes with just "Study harder" and sound way cooler doing so.
Ochette's howl and growl are so freaking adorable. Meanwhile, I enjoyed Temenos' unenthusiastic 'May the Sacred Flame guide you...or something like that'.

I don't play on English language, but on Japanese language, I prefer ochette's dialogue, wherein she says "meshi meshi" at the end. It sounds goofy enough to be catchy.
